I can understand your having an issue with all of what gets lost. You should also realize that efforts are being made to *minimize* the damage that would be made, hence that thread for non-H manga in the vigilante section. I have no objection to non-H manga going away, that causes more problems than its worth, I just hope we can get rid of it in a way that doesn't kill stuff that is okay here.

Very aware of that. I've got 60k GP and 600k effectively, so I can download a decent amount, its just so tedious not to mention it gives me 5 minute blocks all the time, but I imagine automation is against the ToS/rules

I can usually grab about 5/6 at a time, IE last night swarming to DL all my asian porn favs. Basically you can DL multiple files through the dog bag at once, and still use the torrents at the same time. This maximizes the amount of pron you get during the time when you are crunching. If you use H@H you can also DL through it as well, though it will take time (IE over 1k will take all night).

I think you can DL either 4 or 5 at a time through the archive.

The attack on Share is partly why we are eliminating NON-H manga in all languages. Although, I think it would be safe to use it for J-Porn images. They, like the Americans, seem to be focused on manga, music, and video.

I know I come here for Hentai, initially..
BUT I've been drawn to Non-H galleries nonetheless, and I've seen some fantastic stuff in there, like non-h doujins, like the cute Touhou ones, and some incredible pixiv galleries.

I don't think I'd ever come across these, otherwise (I can only browse so many sites) couldn't we leave the Non-H up? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I mean there could still be criteria, like maybe doujins and art galleries, only (as opposed to full manga series, which we could get easily on other sites for regular manga)

You must have missed something. The reason we are attacking the NON-H manga is to save the NON-H category (and its non-h Touhou doujins).

Most complaints seems to be about Non-H. Why not simply just make a new category called "Ecchi"? I think it's still relatable to the content of the site and it would get rid of the licensed manga (?).

Any definition that would allow ecchi non-h manga would include the likes of "Love Hina", which cannot be allowed as it is high profile and licensed in the US.

Lastly, we have to remember that this is E-Hentai, not E-Hentai, Manga and J-Porn. The other stuff was just a nice bonus to the core hentai manga and doujinshi. Personally, Cosplay could go too as it is not core either, and would make it easier for enforcement if ALL real life images went away.

Alpha 7 is in a position to know, despite not explicitly being the group you wish to hear from. You're also reading into it too much anyways; all those magazine style tankobon you mentioned are all hentai related (by the western usage of the term), so they are not part of this "purge."

What is being targeted (more or less) is serialized non hentai material (again, western usage of the term), especially those that have been or are being released as standalone tankobon. To Love-ru and Kiss x Sis fall under this category. In fact, anything that has seen attention outside of Japan (aka licensing) and/or anime treatment should be dead giveaways to material that need to be removed. Again, To Love-ru and Kiss x Sis fall under that category as well.

Without removing these galleries the entire Non-H category will be nuked, non-h doujinshi and all~

Actually, no it isn't if you do it right. Get the download links into Getright using the Flashget addon for Firefox. Set the limits to 2 connections per HTTP server and do automatic downloading. Go to bed and wake to GB's of goodness! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The key is to get the links from the 'download archive' popup and then you're good to go!

Well that's a hard kick in the pants. The galleries were often the best place to look for untranslated non-h doujins. I suppose interest in those will phase out with their impending unavailability.
