Not like I want to be a dick here but it's being done because the OWNER of the site says it has to be done. If you need more of a reason then you really should understand that the OWNER has final say about everything concerning the site they built.
On a related note though if you don't keep up with the regular flow of news there's a huge commotion about copyright infringement that's been going around and as a result people who operate web sites in general are becoming more pro-active about keeping the web sites within the limits currently being reestablished by all the changes currently taking place.

Having commercialized and licensed mangas non-h or otherwise on the site allows the companies which hold those copyrights to sue your ass because you're hosting them without permission. I'm pretty sure you like the site more than a little and don't want to see it shut down because of inconsequential bullshit like copyright infringement. I sure as hell don't, furthermore, the whole notification thing aside if I have to lose galleries just so I don't lose one of the best resources for untranslated works then it's a price I will willingly pay.

That means someone put it in the commercial thread for tenb to nuke. I guess that's a mistake? I don't know enough about the series. The rules are a little convoluted right now. I'd honestly appreciate if Tenb would update the first post with the current decisions.

My understand was ecchi like Nana to Karou can still be posted (and yours looked like it fell under that category). If your series was licensed that's a different issue.

You use those terms, but you don't really know what they mean. For one, this is a private website, so no, there no censorship. Most users agree with purging the commercial non-h manga anyways. You can find them at a multitude of other websites, so no harm done. Secondly, how does an owner vandalize his own property, I wonder? All in all, your arguments have been weak and include plenty of tantrum throwing. Go make your own site if you don't agree with the policies of Tenboro.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a mistake. The commercial thread is being periodically purged. I'm guessing Toey didn't realize that we were trying to clean up non-h to keep the category alive. A series has to be both ecchi and include hentai themes (implicit sex) for it to be excluded from the purge.

I know I come here for Hentai, initially..
BUT I've been drawn to Non-H galleries nonetheless, and I've seen some fantastic stuff in there, like non-h doujins, like the cute Touhou ones, and some incredible pixiv galleries.

I don't think I'd ever come across these, otherwise (I can only browse so many sites) couldn't we leave the Non-H up? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I mean there could still be criteria, like maybe doujins and art galleries, only (as opposed to full manga series, which we could get easily on other sites for regular manga)

I'm fairly sure having an announcement on the site homepage counts as being notified.
And if people still can't figure it out even after reading the homepage or browsing the forums for five minutes, they should probably go die in a ditch stop using the Internet.

What's the status on eMule or BitTorrent+I2P? I thought a lot of Asian users here had something like I2P or OpenVPN installed to avoid censors. It's coming time to make something like EH for censored users? I could see a collection of hidden sites and indexing services dedicated strictly to mirroring EH.

私は用途によってP2Pも既に使っています。
例えば、EmuゲームのROMなら eMule、Hentaiゲームなら MX、JAVやIVなら torrent、
いずれも、画像セットには不向きです。
eMuleで画像セットを配布してる所は、まず見た事が有りませんし、有ったとしてもレアでしょう。
torrentもそうです。こちらもゲームや動画は多々有りますが、画像セットは余り無く、しかも
有ったとしても寿命が短くすぐに枯れます。
MXでは日本画像セットはぼちぼち有りますが、アジアンポルノ全般は見つけるのが難しいです。
Shareは日本では取締りが厳しいので使ってません。

Truthfully I am not happy with this change, but there is nothing I can do. 1, Tenb is admin, thus for the purposes of his website he is king. 2, Only a small minority are speaking out to keep things as they are and thus they will be ignored. 3, Life sucks.

If you have serious objections about these changes, well..

Second: Considering how helpful E-H has been to some of the users, namely with the bounties helping anyone getting something nicely translated for (essentially) free or finding something long sought after, I don't get all the negative feedback over something light like removing a genre. But that's just me I guess.

Speaking of which, I haven't been paying much attention to this back and forth. I know the asian galleries are getting the boot(?), but is just the commercial non-h manga's going too or ALL regular stuff?

Current guess is commercial non-h manga which is too big to go under the radar

We HAVE moderators who're also working on the links we reported, so it's not a blind massacre

Most complaints seems to be about Non-H. Why not simply just make a new category called "Ecchi"? I think it's still relatable to the content of the site and it would get rid of the licensed manga (?).
It doesn't even have to be Ecchi manga/doujin, there's even some Ecchi artist CG and game CG, here's a few I uploaded in the past that would fit that category:

Hey Tenboro, not to beat a dead pony or anything but with the scramble to remove all the 'hot' galleries from the non-h zone to save it, do you think that you might be able to reconsider axing the non-h area as well?

@all the complainers:

First: This is a HENTAI site. Go figure (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) .

Second: There has been a lot of discussion about copyright infringements going on in the last couple of weeks (so much that it's almost making my ears bleed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) ). Ever heard of SOPA, PIPA, ACTA and the recent megaupload shutdown no (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) ??? Then google it up.

Third: Having such a great HENTAI site shut down over something that doesn't even necessarily belong here would be fatal (you know some h-content is rare too and can not be found anywhere else that easily (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ) and will surely piss off (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) A LOT more people then right now.

No estoy de acuerdo, si bien no son dibujos asiáticos como el hentai (se que no todos los artistas son de ese países asiáticos solo hago diferencia entre las categorías) se adaptan al contenido de la pagina es decir contienen escenas de sexo explicito (la mayoría al menos) y muy bueno a mis ojos.

Aunque el "Non-H" no se enfoque en esto posee galerías con excelente calidad y contenido que no encontraras con facilidad en otras paginas. La categoría "Asian Porn" carece de esta calidad ademas creo que puede encontrarse ese contenido por la web sin demasiado esfuerzo.

Perdón aun estoy medio perdido hasta ahora me mantenía en las galerías.
