A lot of things you post seem to fly in the face of the principles of this thread, so it's pretty rude that you would post in it.

Granted, maybe I'm just a bit envious. You apparently are still at a point in your life where you can happily share whatever crosses your mind in a public forum. I am rather fascinated by people who believe their own thoughts and opinions are inherently worth spreading just on their own merit, regardless of relevance or writing ability.

I'm burdened with thinking about the feelings of others and avoiding making their reading experience less pleasant. I take some pride in the words I type and, barring a few nights wracked with insomnia, I don't make a post unless I think it somehow adds more substance to a discussion, or at least would be interesting for somebody else to read. For the most part, I try to avoid posting at all in topics I don't care about or that wouldn't benefit from my input, but there are times when I see people post things and I think, how can a person be so fucking stupid and self-centered? That's why this thread exists: these bad habits are an epidemic.

Anyway, it's safe to say you've gotten more than your share of hate from the regular forum critics. I just hope you can appreciate that their distaste stems from your behavior. I won't suggest that you should change who you are to conform, but if you want to belong, you would do well to either choose your words more carefully, or hang out in areas where people don't care about that as much.

Just noticed this part. I'm pretty sure we already have threads like that. Basically, all of them. (Except the one that got spirited away because apparently somebody made fun of helpless gunshot victims)

Whoever did that must be quite the asshole. Quite the the wonderfully amazing, true embodiment of Free Speech, asshole.

Free speech has its limits. I mean, you wouldn't shout "Fire!" in a crowded theater, would you?

I'd be willing to bet pinning it wouldn't help much with the current forum condition. Some people with mint vision just won't acknowledge stuff even when it's right in front of their goddamn eyes.

Believe it or not I did read this. I agree with what you have to say, but extend it to the internet as a whole.

I had a hard time believing that blind douchery and willful ignorance of others could be so widespread as they seem here. Then I spent some actual time walking around the streets of an active city. I usually post in threads without reading the topic, but I've been here a long time and do it out of lack of interest and not giving a flying fuck anymore. That's why I scroll past people's posts a lot, too. It's similar to stepping over a puddle of someone's drunk vomit at a concert.
