I'm sure you think the logic of this thread is directed to people like me but couldn't possibly apply to an established member like you. I can tell because you act like you're the victim of our squabble.

Yeah, I was an asshole. I was pissed that you seem to think you're only having fun when you act like a jerk and but everything is serious when someone treats you the same way.

I understand if I irritated you. I was trying to - just like you did to me (even if you weren't trying to). For some reason you don't see it that way. I think that you think I was arguing about the topic, which I really don't care about. I was arguing about the fact that you mocked my opinion then tried to say I was the one acting like a child when I disrespectfully responded.

It was because of my tone that I think you didn't see I was trying to make a point.

I'm sure you don't agree, and whether or not you even see I actually I'm trying to make a legitimate point and not just crying like a child, I'd rather not have a permanent problem with you. In fact, I've had nothing but friendly conversations with everyone else on the site and I would love, more than anything, to keep it that way.

I won't ask you to back off or anything but can I count on you to not hold a vendetta against me (like don't drag my name through topics like this just to start something up again)? Like I said, I'd rather us not have a permanent problem. And I'm being as sincere as possible.

Probably. Much derpage on my part. It escalated from my response, so I should have let it go.

I also never intended to get nasty with my writing with the first response but I don't take kindly to clear insults - But that's how things escalate, right? You say something I don't like, I say something worse while we both think the other has more malicious intent that we probably actually have until one person gets way too pissed than the situation calls for.

The internet is a serious qualm machine.

That is why here I will announce that if I am not replying to someone that I believe to be aware and not mentally handicapped or replying to anyone that might be really touchy on a stupid subject that is rife for parody or mockery, I will blatantly state that I am making a joke in the most condescending manner possible. At least until further notice.

Because apparently there's this issue with reading tone on the internet that I don't have but the ignorant and sensitive masses do. If you agree that this is something that should commence forthwith, please respond in the affirmative.
