I have no problems with it being blanked. The wiki is intended to be helpful, not a personal blog.

I was merely pointing out how useful it is to blank out an userpage and blame it on a lack of objectivity when said page yields an actual, albeit limited, degree of writing freedom, 'generally' being a keyword.

User pages are just as flexible as any other wiki page, and it's a page all about you, so generally people will leave you to freely write your user page in whatever format you like. Think of it as a 'profile' page. It's a feature to help other people know who you are, and to bring the online community closer together. You might like to mention where you are from and what your job is.

That said, I could not care less about it, either. I am convinced from what Anto wrote that if he feels offended, he shall be confident enough to solo his irate foe once again and take it to the Irish pub.

No my teachers tried pretty hard, and I'm great at multiplication.

I just saw no value in maths personally, so I just ignored it, and focused on art, english, and doing whatever the hell else interested me.

That and algebra makes no sense to me, it seems like an overly complicated way of solving an easy problem.

Fractions aren't used in places that have the metric system. (to my knowledge so far out of school)

The only fractions I ever see are on my imperial spanners and sockets I use for working on old cars.

You know this talk of MENSA and IQ's is probably one of the funniest topics I have watched for a while.

For the record I'm a high school drop with a certification from MENSA with a 148 test score.

I've worked for years like others as a mechanic and blue collar laborer (ie. carpentry,electrical,custodial yadda yadda) and I've never felt the need to flaunt my intelligence to others outside of the way I post. I am smart enough to know my areas of knowledge are in fact quite limited because I did not in fact take to book learning as well as I should have to fully expand the power of my brain.(shrugs) I've never felt any loss from that fact.

The perception of others depends greatly on how you carry yourself in EVERYTHING you do. Laughing to much can carry a very serious undertone of being either condescending or outright derogatory towards the person you are talking to, both of which imply that you have no regard for people other than yourself or those you consider superior to yourself, another, somewhat conceited view if I am asked for my standpoint.

There's an old saying, if you want others to treat you with respect then first you must show them you are worthy of that respect. You might consider that before posting replies that could be considered antagonistic.
Anywho with the rant over, there's another saying I've had to take to heart recently. "Haters gonna hate no matter what you do" Seems like good advice to me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I don't think that Khan guy has some magical explaining powers, most of the benefit you get from him is the fact that you're actually using your time to review the stuff.
