Comparing the art to the first series... OK yeah, it's a lot better. The author seems to be using some kind of higher-quality sprite engine. [sarcism]You know, something like Flash.[/sarcism] I think the originals might have literally been made in MS Paint. I'd feel really bad if the current ones are. LOL, imagine keeping a huge collection of palette and sprite samples loaded all the time. Nope, the Adobe Flash tool being used makes it clear that's not being done! >:)

If memory serves on his FAQ page he says he stoped useing mspaint after the first couple pages of problem sleuth. But the name stuck.

for me i enjoyed homestuck from the start. But when i ask people why they dont like homestuck alot of the time they say it started out to slow. And it dosent help that to catch up at this point you need several days of free time.

Also if they havent read problem sleuth and the other stories homestuck may seem slow simply because they dont catch alot of the call backs in the first act.

I've never read any of the other MPSA stuff, and I still like Homestuck. It also only took me two days to get from page one to the end of chapter 5, the general rule of thumb is to skip anything that is more than a paragraph long and is not a pesterlog, cause 80% of the time I could tell what needed to be said by looking at the image instead of reading about how John just noticed his dad is no longer outside and he might have a clear shot at getting the Sburb beta without all the hoopla Huss put in.

What do i mean by asking about homestuck fans being in this forum? I mean that i was looking to see if there was any homestuck fans in the forums.

If you grew up on 1980's computer games, it'll make a lot more sense.

QFT. I feel sorry for a lot of people ten years younger than me who just don't quite get a lot of the MUD/MUSH stuff going on. XD Even so, for them to not get it and still like the comic as a whole just reinforces it's awesomeness.

You're nucking futz. It took me over a week to get that far. O_O And I'm not a wimpy reader, either--read 600 chapters of One Piece in about three weeks.

Although I do have to read every little thing when I do sit down and read something. XD





Homestuck is pretty awesome. Terezi is mah favourite--she can put me on trial any day. :awe: At my own forum, one of the guys I'm training to be Admin is much more of a Homestuck fan than I am, and I always piss him off by telling him that I'll catch up on HomeStuck after he admits his Brony-ness. (He's still a closet Brony.)

I did most enjoy homestuck, It was something new for me. I remember mostly enjoying a few of their flash animations. I still enjoy the soundtrack from their flash animation "Descend". m,yes quite so.

I know this thread has been down for 10 fucking years, but as a "modern" Homestuck fan I wanted to bring it back.
