That show was a big surprise for me since I didn't care for the newspaper strip. Great show, and like Venture Brothers it was too good for Adult Swim.

I actually got into the comic strip after watching the show. I like both, though I guess it might depend on one's politics.

Yeah, watching the show got me to at least enjoy the non-political stuff. He was golden when he was making fun of Star Wars...

I liked a lot of the parodies on the show...the 36th Chamber of Shaolin opening to that Stinkmeaner episode, and the totally awesome and spot-on Soul Plane 2 trailer...

I've stuck with Family Guy and the Simpsons all these years, to be honest the recent episodes aren't anywhere near as bad as people make htem out to be.

OK, who else loved the premiere of Gravity Falls and is hoping that the whole series is going to be as good?

The Phantom 2040

I passed over that when it was on the air because it "looked weird," but I really wish I'd watched it. Peter Cheung was pretty cool before he went off the deep end and started doing really ugly stuff.

Is Archer any good? I've heard good things about it. Also I hear season 2 of Bob's Burgers is quite a bit better than season 1.

Archer is fantastic. There's really not much more to say than that. But yeah, it's pretty great.

I haven't watched the second season of Bob's Burgers yet; first season wasn't too bad, it was just incredibly depressing.

More in the subtext than anything; the feeling that they're one step away from financial ruin. Don't get me wrong though, I still like the show.
