I think there is a bug on stun.

The problem likes this:
15 7 The effect Stunned on The Q has expired.

Using DW - Mainhand = Club (3 turn stun) / Offhand = Rapier (6 turn PA) ... 5.6 burden, a speedy character build + Haste.

I wonder how this will work with bleed weapon; maybe it could be better, or worse... The SP drain from using Spirit mode alone is so painful already... Why this?

yeah, stun charges are causing poison and other DoT effects to rapid proc until player's next turn

i'm not sure if this is intentional or not, it's a mixed blessing

scratch that, stunning enemies w/o procs really only lasts up to your next turn making stunning useless for attacking

oh well i'm enjoying my poison damage atm!

But like I said, I know little about maging. So if leaving one enemy alive to build up overcharge is extremely dangerous, then OK, not that much of a buff. Definitely think it's much harder on melee users either way.

I used to only do melee attacks against celestials and elementals (I have a soul Ethereal staff), because I don't have Dark or Soul magic yet. That and activating Mana Theft. Ever having my OC at 100% was something I did only when I went out of my way to do it.

And the fact that OC is lost during Spirit Mode when doing things like popping potions or other things that aren't improved by Spirit mode is annoying. Especially because SM takes a turn to activate...

And I want the ability to name my Spirit Mode. It was ironic because the name of my Spirit Attack was a reference to a constant ability that lasts a short while...

Dunno if it's just me, but my debuffs drains like 2 or 3 times faster (and unpredictably? 1 turn Weakens lose 1 turn duration after my attack, and the following round it loses like 3).

Stun proc is worthless this way, right after you stun them it's either 0 or 1 turn left. :E

Did anything change with monsters' APs?

I'm just gonna die in this IWBTH arena I guess lol.

I'm liking Spirit Mode. Allowing mages to make use of overcharge after ETing is a nice bonus.

I don't know if it's intended or not, but Overcharge will drop below 0% on the last Spirit Mode turn if it's not exactly at 10%.

since it depends on weapon just label it "melee skill" or something

Also if he can call the weapon skill something other than "Innate Skill", which it clearly isn't.
And put some space between "Flee" and "Scan". It's making me paranoid.

I'd never had a stun weapon before, so I didn't know how it worked.


Edit: AHHH, When I'm at -2% Overcharge, Scan is greyed off! And I can't use it!
And after it goes back above 0%, it seems to raise faster??? +12% each time instead of +3ish...

I'm trying to grasp whether the change in Spirit will be of help, but so far it looks just like a nerf for higher level players and a buff for lower ones...

I mean, when you need to have Spirit Shield up 100 % of the time (and thus cannot afford Spirit Mode), the changes will essentially result in lower damage output, because you lose the damage bonus from Overcharge.

It might help lower level players who don't (didn't) have much use for Spirit, but for endgamers melees seems like things will only get harder. :E

Any thought on that?
