It is not mentioned in the wiki page so maybe its unknown but, how does "Luck of the Draw" interact with the values presented?
The wiki page for equipment ranges states that ranges are based on observed figures in the market place so obviously there is a mix of high and low luck of the draw figures.
But basically I want to know if luck of the draw multiplies each individual figure, or adds more points to the pool to be randomly distributed between all the figures.
If it is a multiplier then it means that getting the high end rolls requires luck of the draw, as they are impossible to get without it. Which also raises the item's overall quality.
If it is additional points then it raises the item's overall quality by the same amount but you are capable of lucking out and getting max values for individual figures (like EDB) even without luck of the draw.
Also, I noticed no data harvesting script users can install to help get larger sample sizes for those rare item types... Any plans on making one? Asking in the script thread for someone to make one?
Reason it is not on the wiki, is that people don't really know how it all interacts except for the bossman himself.
What I do know. Bunch of factors go into Quality Bonus which is modified by LotD and then random(1-1000) added to it. (Limited outdated knowledge of factors)
Quality Bonus then is converted into Quality Boost. (no data on conversion)
Quality Boost is the minimum value any stat that is rolled can be. This applies to all rolls.
ie. If it is 0.34, then nothing will roll lower then 34% of max. If something has to roll between 1 and 10 and you have 0.34 as your boost. the roll instead gets shortened to between 4 and 10.
PS. I don't script. Sorry.
