I used this [ www.opinionatedgeek.com] http://www.opinionatedgeek.com/dotnet/tools/base64encode/It is a good idea to optimize the images before encoding.. the 4 I did was reduced in size from ~5k to 1k.. I don't know how much it will speed it up (probably negligible), but it will not clutter up the code as much.

I cleared my cache and now the Gem Icon displays a "Broken Image" icon when I have a gem. I've tried restarting Chrome and my laptop, as well as uninstalling HV Stat and reinstalling it, but nothing's fixed it. (I should note that the images work and show up when using a Health/Mana/Spirit Potion and during Channeling, however)

The cached images are lost after you cleared that. Since they're in the new position now, you'll have to update that. Try both versions in the last page and see if it works?

It should work with the versions on the last page as Varst said, if not, please post the url that the script tries to get the image from (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Got a lot of work lately and haven't yet found the time. It won't be in the next few days though, I am catching a plane tomorrow early morning for work. is there a way i can change "Show skill button" from the 3 2HD skills to Great Cleave Orbital Friendship Cannon FUS RO DAH
or would it be easier to map them to a key?

Just tried this, I basically just wanted to have the number of turns remaining on my procs and spells displayed (so I don't have to keep checking), but even with everything turned off but that feature, it still fucked the speed too much for me. I'd rather have the game run smoothly so I ended up removing it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).

I managed to get even better (slightly) compression using PNGOUT rather then PNGCrush (via plugin for infranview) losslessly reducing them to 24.62% of original size. After a ridiculous amount of time battling evil, evil syntax issues I got it working! (also learned a few things and figured out why things were broke) And unless I am imagining things, it is significantly faster (so fast it just appears there now; IIRC it was slower before) in displaying the powerup images now (should be more pronounced the slower your bandwidth is (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)). It also had a minor issue where the image ID of both health and spirit gems as health gem which I also corrected.

I believe the reason FF performance is so atrocious is that it needs to refetch dependency scripts repeatedly. Which is bad... Something I will look into fixing when I get the chance. Wow, i just tried 5.2.5 out, and it is indeed faster! At least it feels like it, and thats the most important thing :3 Good work! mrttao! [Edit] Oh, could you do me a favor mrttao? Theres still the bug with my proficiency summary, showing incorrect info for Twohanded, Dual wield and staff gain. For next version, if you can change line 2065-2067 from CODE a += ", <b>Two-Handed Gain</b>: " + _round.armorProfGain[1].toFixed(2); a += ", <b>Dual Wielding Gain</b>: " + _round.armorProfGain[2].toFixed(2); a += ", <b>Staff Gain</b>: " + _round.armorProfGain[3].toFixed(2);
to CODE a += ", <b>Two-Handed Gain</b>: " + _round.weapProfGain[1].toFixed(2); a += ", <b>Dual Wielding Gain</b>: " + _round.weapProfGain[2].toFixed(2); a += ", <b>Staff Gain</b>: " + _round.weapProfGain[3].toFixed(2);
Thanks :3 This post has been edited by Ilirith: Jul 22 2012, 05:24

Done. Had to look closely to see the error, those weapons were using armor function. Thanks for the bugfix. Attached is a corrected file:

Number of downloads: 44QUOTE Wow, i just tried 5.2.5 out, and it is indeed faster! Glad to hear it. BUG: I noticed another bug (I will look into it myself when I find the time, but there are many other things to do so I am sharing it with the community in case someone else gets the chance / time to solve it). I noticed that it counted me using 40 elemental spells on a 15 round battle. I think it counted AoE as multiple castings of the spell. This post has been edited by mrttao: Jul 22 2012, 07:49

Ah yes, i knew about that, i just never thought of it as a bug. But of course it is, i can't remember offhand if there is already a relevant stat tracked to be able to deduce the actual amount of spells cast. If not, it should not be much trouble to add one, as it won't be needed for anything else than the proficiency summary ( at least for now :3 )

I tried to use scriptish instead of greasemonkey, and the script (5.2.5) has not been detected. In permitted user, i added hentaiverse.org/* but it isn't efficient.
Did i forget something ? Need help, please ^^

The firefox version has not been updated since v5.2.2 If you rip out the user.js from the crome extension and just try running that in firefox it wont work outright. I have not yet looked into making a full list of the differences between the two since everyone else here is just using chrome from HV (since its so much faster); but the most obvious difference is the issue with the chrome extension using a different script metadata block. In firefox your metadata block (which is missing in the chrome version) has: CODE // ==UserScript== // @name HV Statistics, Tracking, and Analysis Tool // @namespace HV STAT // @description Collects data, analyzes statistics, and enhances the interface of the HentaiVerse // @include http://hentaiverse.org/* // @author Various (http://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=50962) // @version 5.2.2 // @require http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js // @require http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.16/jquery-ui.min.js // @resource jQueryUICSS http://www.starfleetplatoon.com/~cmal/HVSTAT/jqueryui.css // ==/UserScript== Chrome can run greasemonkey scripts in which case it would need the above. but we are packaging it as an extension so the info is relocated to a json file in a different syntax. Thanks, mrttao. I think in a first time, i'm going to go back with 5.2.2. And i'm going to use too (and discover) chrome with HV if, as you said, it's much faster.

Aye, Chrome is by far the fastest for playing HV, and even if you dislike chrome, i'd still recommend using it just for HV
