Sort of new still only, lv 26, wouldn't mind some gear for a melee character that uses maces and light armor. I'm not generating a lot of credits now but I'm sure we can hammer out some sort of reimbursement if you'd like.

we could ask That everyone put a strikethrough through what was already given or remove it from their post completely. I myself through the strikethrough. I feel its like proof to karma that I have been giving free stuff.

True, I'd like to strikethrough the equipments that are already gone (I do that in my shop). But for unknown reasons an evil unholy mysterious force has been hiding the edit button on that post of mine (other posts of mine on this thread is still editable) and Im like wtf lol

I had the same problem. definitely makes this thread hard to use. I asked razorflame about that...he let me know that, as long as we were sure we weren't locking our own replies, that we might ask a moderator to help us out. trying to do so.

yep I agree. I will not bug Tenboro with this. and yes, there's no moderator in sight. so...if you want freebies, don't be shy! ask if offers still stand and be prepared for rejection!

Another idea is for everyone to create their own thread listing their free items and using (a newly created) Official Freebies Thread as a repository of links to said individuals threads. Donors could just post a link to their individual thread. That way Donors don't have to worry with checking this thread for requests of their items (though I'm sure most just PM). And they could easily subscribe to their own thread to find it quickly and edit it as needed (and since it is their own thread as wells as it being easier to locate it might be more motivation to keep it updated). And Once their items are gone or they close up shop they can just edit their post in the Freebies thread and remove the link to their topic.

I've tried that. It did work better, if I don't need to make another post to say that I stopped giving things.

I can still give away some items listed in my shop if you need those equipments to start with, though you may need to pay a small fee (like 1000 credits).
