In the past, I've expressed my annoyance at the misc limit.

I agree there should be some limits, but the current solution which forces ME (because I AM SPECIAL (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)) to pay credits (for Misc Training) which I could invest bounties is extremely annoying.

My primary grievances are:
* "+1 for every ~8 days registered, up to a maximum of 95 after 2 year" - why is there a limit? If not for it, old users like me would be exempt from this crap
* in case one wants to prevent spam from old accounts, I've suggested many times that misc limit can be also simply tied to the number of good galleries uploaded; I've uploaded 1,300+ non-limit galleries, yet all this contribution does NOTHING to change the limit for me. To repeat myself once again, I think that one should gain at least 1 misc gallery for every 10 regular ones, if not more.

To drive the point, apparently my last non-h upload triggered some kind of uploading block, and now I cannot upload my new, bounty-driven Darker Than Black h translation till I spend 10k credits on expanding the damn misc limit. How is this me being unable to upload a h translation helping the gallery system till I remove some credits, I have not a clue. As far as I am concerned, it is hurting the system on two levels, first by preventing the good galleries from being uploaded ASAP, and second, from reducing the resources I have to sponsor new translations.

Well, screw this, again. Just like I did when I reached this limit last time a year or so ago, I am refusing to spend any of MY credits on this idiocy. Perhaps the rules will be changed to allow uploaders like me to not be screwed that way, till then, if anybody would like me to continue my uploads, feel free to donate credits, just like after my similar rant last year (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif). Any credits donated will be put into misc training immediately. Feel free to post here so I can K+ you and we can stop after 10k was reached. Till I upload 25 non-h more, in a few months, and we have to go over this crap again...

Also for the record, it's not that 10k credits is much for me - I have over 300k - but to repeat myself, I refuse to waste any of my credits on non-bounty stuff. All of my credit stash is used for bounties (with some pretty good results, I'd like to think - check my sig for the list of over 60 galleries I was able to sponsor successfully). 10k I have to drop into the system's black hole are an equivalent of one translated page that is taken away from us (this is what I usually pay to translators on per-page basis). If you are annoyed with this as well, post here and maybe Ten will adjust the system to make it less screwy for people like me, who I think it is quite clear do not intend to spam the system with some crappy misc/western/asian porn crap. Even if you don't care for the non-h stuff, remember that the current system makes me less able to provide you with the (translated or otherwise) h-content.

I don't agree with what you're saying. I think that people should be limited from uploading Non-H, Misc, Western and Asian Porn galleries, even more so than they are today. I think they're kind of destroying the hentai theme that is what the site is all about and even though I know people got their own likings and whatnot, I think that it's getting more and more hard to find good galleries nowadays because there's so much non-related and bad quality galleries uploaded here. Perhaps I am a part of it myself, but I'm trying my best not to upload stuff that I think is crap even though it hasn't been uploaded before.

Just my two cents though, I am really biased though as I dislike asian porn (which isn't even JAVs nowadays), western (they're occassionally good but the majority is really bad) and misc.

First, let me say that I share your resentment towards western and asianporn, as well most misc (non-j ones, there are some exceptions I can appreciate).

Second, I do think that non-h belongs here, because quite a lot of it is ecchi. For example, this.

Such galleries should not be restricted.

Also, I strongly disagree about not uploading doujin, manga or cg set "crap". What is crap for me or you may be the favorite fetish or art style for others.

Just like people told you last time you did this and will be the next time and each successive time you pull this bullshit.

Pay the credits or give the galleries to someone who doesn't give a fuck and would rather just upload the galleries so the public can see them. Do anything constructive but stop being a whiny little bitch princess who thinks they deserve special treatment or should be given credits so you can upload more.

You want fund more translations, you're better off paying the credits now because the longer you go without new galleries the more your gp flow will reduce. Without those new galleries to keep that flow constant, it'll take longer and longer to fund those translations.

No, SW, I care a lot for the community, and I want to make the site better for them. Although listening to your occasional emo trolling makes me less willing to do keep that up, indeed. (But no worries, I'll, if for no other reason than to repay those who support me from the shadows and responded to my request for support).

Shadow Weaver: Stop giving Red Piotrus such crap. He doesn't deserve it. He's doing an awesome job with his uploads, and if you can't even see the good he does for this community, you're better off not bringing anything up. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.

You're going to seriously try to pass off that your translation bounties are for the community? If your concern for the community is so great, why is your first priority not uploading the stuff we don't have here in any form?

The translation bounties are all things that can be seen on the site. So what make this old material so much more important than new material?

You say credits are not an issue so why make it an issue. You won't send credits on anything non-bounty but

Your point about the number of galleries means nothing. If someone had the same sources as you and uploaded them first, they'd have all those galleries and not you. I doubt the other person in this hypothetical situation would want special treatment. In fact I don't remember anyone else with a lot of galleries asking for special treatment. So what make you so deserving?

You think I'm trolling you, I'm just being honest. Listening to you whine just pisses me off. Though you should probably be pissed at me. I don't know if I was the only one but I did suggest reducing the misc limit and adding the training to increase it.

I don't think this is helping anything.
