I can complete T&T on Hard in around 4:30

Then do so, one-shot your way through the arena, and you should have the lowest time, easy and we'll have a result.

And gems might be a random factor, but they are a normal part of it, and hopefully the randomness will be somewhat even.

Gems play a HUGE factor here, not sure why you want something so random affecting results.
For example, I can complete T&T without mana pots if I am lucky enough to get 2 Mana Gems.
This alone will determine if I can finish in less than 5 mins or spend extra time trying to proc ET.

Showing that melee can compete with mages, when it comes to speed. Takes more rounds, but they are done faster.

Not really, considering that this entire "competition" is basically asking mages to handicap themselves by not being able to use potions.

So use potions, but use a normal amount and of normal values, that you would normally use during a clear of that type.
And report it.

It was put there to try and prevent people "winning" by going all out with mana elixirs and stuff, just to get the best time.
What I want is average times on nromal clears, to get a better view of which is more time-effective. Slower and more deliberate actions of a mage, or quicker spamming by a melee.

Dark mage is the best at this.
A good Ragnarok should one hit everything up to the Trio where the extra Forbidden Prof from his stick will save another turn. But Every Elemental mage with good Gear can do almost the same.

In the end it comes down to luck since you cant do anything against resists.

I think I could do it in about 7 minutes with Great Stamina and the Tier 2 holy spells.

5 minutes and 37 seconds.

I'm almost one-shoting everything now, except for the times my spells miss. I don't see where I'm losing 1 minute. My lag doesn't feel that bad.

I think it was because of the lag from HVstat. I did some testing just now in grind fest (doing 10 rounds each time, with HVstat disabled) and best I can do is 28 seconds, which would be around ~4:40 for 100 rounds.

8 minutes ... Could be faster if I play at 4 am.

Why am I doing this... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) That was such a waste of stamina.
