First post so I apologize if I mess this up.

I've recently started attempting to translate Japanese onomatopoeia since an artist I like puts in there work, but I can't for the life of me find what this means. I don't know if I'm reading it wrong (which is entirely possible since I'm still fairly new to reading Japanese) but I'm reading it as ビニル and despite checking so many sources I haven't found anything that makes sense.

Only thing I got was that it meant vinyl but that can't be right in this context.

Now assuming I did this right I attached a picture of the onomatopoeia in question.


I was reading it wrong. It's ビュル. I know ビュis a spurting sound but I'm not sure what adding the ル onto it makes it

It just makes the sound longer. It's quite common. How you express that in your translation is up to you.

The differences are in who is doing what and how they feel. The grammar plays a large role.

The comments are some arguments about the definition of NTR. I'm not particularly interested in translating them.

MC = Main character

1. Netori
- The Male MC "A" steals another male character "B"'s partner. "B"'s partner is initially sad but eventually loses to the pleasure.

2. Netorare
- The MC can be either male or female "A" and they have a partner ("A"'s partner). Typically the female ("A" or "A"'s partner) is forced to have sex with another male character "B." The female is initially sad but eventually loses to the pleasure.

3. Netorase
- The Male MC "A" is involved in deceiving his female partner ("A"'s partner) into having sex with other men. "A" enjoys the entire process.

4. Netoraserare
- The Male MC "A" is forced to watch his female partner ("A"'s partner) having sex with other men. "A" initially dislikes the situation but eventually gets sexually aroused.

5. Netoraresase

It's an "artistic" title so it may not have a particular meaning. At the very least it is not a common English phrase. The artist is active on Twitter so you can try asking them directly.

The doujin could very well be named after the The Pillows song since anything goes in doujin naming. It could simply have been that the artist was unable to think of a title and heard that song at that time. If the doujin was actually named after the song, you'd have to find out why the band chose that title for their song, and even then the band's idea of what that phrase means may be different from what the artist thought it meant.
