A dream so crude/crass/sleazy/vulgar/perverted that it makes [someone] want to vomit. I'd probably use "sleazy" and, depending on the context, either "me" or a generalized "you".

An humble dream that induces nausea. I saw it at [ tiramisucowboy.tumblr.com] http://tiramisucowboy.tumblr.com/other-son...do-gesu-na-yumeMaybe there is any better translation. QUOTE(Galdric @ Mar 8 2016, 16:27) Hey all, thanks for the fast responses. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) By the way, do we have a list of moans anywhere on the forums? I'm not a translator, and I have a bunch of moans that I cant identify. (Beyond the fact that they're probably variations of "Ah", "Mmn", "Nng" and possibly "Unf" I mean) For reference, this is what I'm looking at, all on the same page: あン Moan 1 アんっ Moan 2 んっン Moan 3 ンっ Moan 4 んンっ Moan 5 んンッ Moan 6 んふ Moan 7 ンんッ Moan 8 ンん❤ッ Moan 9 ンん❤んッ Moan 10 Along with this one I can't even work out what it's supposed to be: https://e-hentai.org/s/8e850354143a58da39...75-jpg/912201-2Would anyone be able to translate these moans for me? You can try searching the translations of those moans at [ thejadednetwork.com] http://thejadednetwork.com/sfx/, and [ www.muri.se] http://www.muri.se/misc/soundfx.html. You can get more if you google it by yourself.

You can get more if you google it by yourself. The jaded network doesn't have any of those combinations, and muri.se doesn't really have most of these combinations either (As far as I can tell they mostly come out to either "a!" or "n" in muri, but I'd like to make sure). I did check the jaded network first, but they didn't show up so I thought I'd try my luck here instead. Also google translate sucks. :| Plus I don't know what, if any, significance there is for changing between Katakana and Hiragana in the same word. *shrugs* This post has been edited by Galdric: Mar 8 2016, 19:01

The significance is a change in intonation. Writing something in katakana makes it "rougher". So it is done purely to show that their voice is going wild. There's really not a single "best" way to translate moans. If you want to replace them all with regular English moaning onomatopoeia, there's really no need to match them all up perfectly with the Japanese ones. Rather than matching perfectly sound-for-sound, it's better to match the general flow. All the sounds you listed are just variations on the same basic sound, after all. The う、うッ in the one you linked is only slightly different in that it's a sort of whimpering moan, but it's still basically a moan.

Alrighty then, thanks for explaining that for me. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I won't worry about it then.

As a tip: translating sounds is not a precise science. Once you understand what the sound represents, you pretty much throw the Japanese away entirely and come up with your own way of representing what sound that thing would make using English. Otherwise you'll just end up with a lot of sound effects that aren't actually sound effects but descriptions of sound effects. (Though this is sometimes completely unavoidable, due to the nature of Japanese sound effects.)

QUOTE(chung2795 @ Mar 11 2016, 13:39) https://e-hentai.org/s/55ffecffba/861648-1I'm translating "早苗のおまんこズつズつお願いしますっ" as "I'll leave it to Sanae as I slowly enjoy your pussy" Is that accurate enough? I think that katakana is ズコズコ, so it's more like "Please fuck Sanae's pussy". (That stoker doesn't sound like a nice person, by the way.)

Yes, it's ズコズコ. Which is a sound effect used as a verb to mean [ thesaurus.weblio.jp] rough sex.

QUOTE(chung2795 @ Mar 11 2016, 18:46) ちゃん is used normally, and め is a derogatory suffix, roughly meaning "Why you little (...)" or "You damn (...)".

QUOTE(yuripe @ Mar 13 2016, 00:32) Hello, I need help again about translation. Does スケベな目で見てた格好してる on this page mean improperly dressed ? She's saying that she's wearing an outfit that has in the past caused him to look at her in a perverted way. So something like "I'm wearing that outfit you were leering at"

I could use a little help with this one. It's a Viper RSR doujin, and our heroine has just been captured after essentially trading herself for a hostage. Her arms are bound. The first part of the bubble is obvious, but "えれぇ強ぇ" is throwing me for a loop. Any ideas? Thanks guys! UF
