Something like "slippery" or more like "splish"?

The latter.

QUOTE(Thira @ Aug 22 2015, 02:01) *

"と" also means "as (to)" often.

Thank you for giving me more information!
So far the only uses for と that I've learned are:

* and : 鉛筆と、消しゴムと、辞書と。。。(pencil, eraser, and dictionary...)

* with : 私は友達と映画館に行きます。(I'm going to the movie theatre with my friend.)

* if : 安いと、買えます。(If it is cheap, I can buy it.)

* when : 図書館に行くと、ホワイトさんがいました。(When I went to the library, I saw Mrs. White.)

Are there anymore?

Thanks so much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Congrtaz on the new job, wihs you the best of luck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Glad I could help! Which sentence did I get right?

And thanks, I'm getting my schedule sometime next week so for now I can still fool around on the internet at 1 in the morning (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Many variations and/or shorts for something around "と" there though, examples for "as" are here.

as : 私は彼を敵とみなす。(I regard him as an enemy.)

本日の会議は中止とします。(The meeting will be suspended today.)
The sentence doesn't include "as" though, technically it means like "~ will be treated as ~".

So, I've been working on a translation for https://e-hentai.org/g/540980/b4c566141f/. Since a (large) handful of lines have been bothering me, I'd like corrections/second opinions here:

- pg 02
あらためて。。。言うなあああああああああ
Don't say it... on purpooooooose [first time I've seen あらためて for something else than repeating, is this correct?]

- pg 03
恥ずかしくないよっ 逆転の発想さっ
It's not embarrassing ; rather, it's the opposite

- pg 04
っていうか 私って 結構感度いくない?
Wait, even if it's my body, aren't you too sensitive?

- pg 05
客観的に見るはめになるとは思わなかったが エロすぎる...な
Objectively speaking, I never thought it would turn out like that, but... this is too erotic [guessing at first part]

- pg 06
ドロっとしてて重い...っ
? [ドロ is apparently sfx for sticky stuff like semen]

- pg 12
入れ替わりが与える精神的ダメージは思ったより激しく
そして確実に... 何かが壊れていった
The mental damage from changing bodies was greater than I thought
And then, inescapably... something broke

- pg 13
デレバンも描きたかったのですが、アニメ派の皆さんのためにネタバレなしで。。。っとおもったのであまり全
面に出せなくて。
I also wanted to draw Dereban, but for the sake of the anime staff, I shouldn't put spoilers in... That's what I thought, so I didn't show anything [totally guessing at second part]

伊織には幸せになってほしいですね。苦労人なので。
I hope Iori will find happiness. She's a ??? person.
[Jisho gives me "wordly-wise man" for 苦労人 which as a non-native English speaker puzzles me. English dictionary gives me "experienced, knowing, sophisticated, wordly", none of which sounds okay to me given the person being referenced. Native speaker opinion welcome!]

-----------

That's a lot of guesstimated lines for a ~13 pages work. I'll definitely stick to easier projects next time.

That's a refreshing way of reading あらためて. It also doesn't fix in the context. The previous line has pinkie's line, which seems to irritate JK1. Personally, I would go with [You don't have to summarise it like that!] or if we're sticking to the literal meaning [Quit summarizing it like thaaaaaat]

- pg 03
恥ずかしくないよっ 逆転の発想さっ
It's not embarrassing ; rather, it's the opposite
No problems here.

- pg 04
っていうか 私って 結構感度いくない?
Wait, "even if it's my body", aren't you too sensitive?
Isn't "even if it's my body" part of the previous bubble?
[Wait, was my body that sensitive?] is how I would put it.

- pg 05
客観的に見るはめになるとは思わなかったが エロすぎる...な
Objectively speaking, I never thought I would end up seeing this but... this is too erotic.

- pg 06
ドロっとしてて重い...っ
? [ドロ is apparently sfx for sticky stuff like semen]
Yes. Yes it is. Describing the texture of the liquid in question, the way it dribbles down your face will do it.

- pg 12
入れ替わりが与える精神的ダメージは思ったより激しく
そして確実に... 何かが壊れていった
The mental damage from changing bodies was greater than I thought
And then, inescapably...[huh?] something broke
[And something, without a doubt, broke in us.] makes more sense.

- pg 13
デレバンも描きたかったのですが、アニメ派の皆さんのためにネタバレなしで。。。っとおもったのであまり全
面に出せなくて。
I also wanted to draw Dereban, but I wanted to avoid spoiling it for the people watching the anime, (lit:anime group, the ones late to everything] so they(Dereban) never really appeared in this book.

伊織には幸せになってほしいですね。苦労人なので。
I hope Iori will find happiness. She's a ??? person.

You know, you could just remove 人 and come up with 苦労. Too simple, I know, but it might just work. Though I fail to see how the hardworking deserve happiness. Unless they were, you know, working towards that specific goal.

Hard to judge it without the context though, seems like simple "don't say it again" or "as the do-over...".

QUOTE(Faeldrin @ Aug 26 2015, 09:06) *
恥ずかしくないよっ 逆転の発想さっ

"逆転の発想さっ" means "that's reverse thinking".

QUOTE(Faeldrin @ Aug 26 2015, 09:06) *
っていうか 私って 結構感度いくない?
Wait, even if it's my body, aren't you too sensitive?
This "っていうか" doesn't mean "wait".
It's like "hey, by the way", "see", "you know" or something.

QUOTE(Faeldrin @ Aug 26 2015, 09:06) *

The line is continued from last line as "自分と長瀬がエロいことしてるのを客観的に見るはめになるとは思わなかったが".
So, the line means "I didn't imagine that I look ~ objectively though".

QUOTE(Faeldrin @ Aug 26 2015, 09:06) *

"苦労人なので" means "because she has seen much of life / gone through much" or "~ experienced hard time".

What would you translate 男女 to?

For context, they're talking about a not so feminine girl.

Well, if one wants to be literal, one could probably go with 'man-woman' (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . 'Butch' could work as well. If it's not meant to be insulting/derogative, 'tomboy' could probably work as well...

Could somebody try and identify the kanji in these pics and check over them? I got most of them but the scans are very fugly, and I just want to make sure the kanji is correct.

"turned/flipped inside out" or "prolapsed" (depending on what is being talked about) might flow better. everted is a pretty uncommon word to use outside of a medical situation, at least in my opinion.

Thanks, guys. I made corrections:

[General context: they switched bodies before the beginning of the doujin. Girl A is in Girl B, Girl B is in Guy X, Guy X is in Girl A)

あらためて。。。言うなあああああああああ
Don't summarize it like thaaaaat!
[Context: Girl B is describing a really embarrassing situation about Girl A, who reacts with the above line]

恥ずかしくないよっ 逆転の発想さっ
It's not embarrassing, that's thinking in reverse

っていうか 私って 結構感度いくない?
Hey, was my body that sensitive?

まさか。。。 自分と長瀬がエロいことしてるのを客観的に見るはめになるとは思わなかったが エロすぎる...な
[Opinions seem to differ on this one. This is the whole sentence for better understanding.]
I never thought I'd see Nagase and I doing naughty things from an external point of view, but... it's too exciting
[Context : since they switched bodies, the guy is watching his body getting hot with "Nagase". Can 客観的に見る be taken as "looking from an external, out-of-body perspective"?]

ドロっとしてて重い...っ
It's sticky and dripping down...

入れ替わりが与える精神的ダメージは思ったより激しく
そして確実に... 何かが壊れていった
The mental damage from changing bodies was greater than I thought
And then, without a doubt, something broke in us

デレバンも描きたかったのですが、アニメ派の皆さんのためにネタバレなしで。。。っとおもったのであまり全
面に出せなくて。
I also wanted to draw Dereban, but I wanted to avoid spoiling it for the people watching the anime, so she never had an appearance.

伊織には幸せになってほしいですね。苦労人なので。
I hope Iori will find happiness. She's someone who's been through a lot.

Funnily enough, about half a day after my post I suddenly thought about using "someone who's been through a lot" for 苦労人, before reading the answers here. Guess that's what I get for translating tired late at night. And yeah, I never even searched for just 苦労, which would have made things easier. (Also, thanks for the person who PM'd me for their opinion on that one.)

The one on the left says, "Pour all of your (penis) milk into my butt hole," or "I'll pour all my (penis) milk into your butt hole," depending on context.
The one on the right is talking about ejaculating, over and over. I'd try: "There! I'm cumming! It's all spurting out!"

^ Thanks.

Random question, is Japanese text usually (always) one word or can it be multiple words in a single character?
