QUOTE(Crystalium @ Jun 24 2014, 15:45) *

Hi, I've got a few questions:

On this page, I translated 「本当はそれで一日プールだったんだ/一学期負けたからムリだったケド」 as "The truth is I was gonna have you wear that at the pool for a whole day, / but since I’m the one that has been losing this whole semester, there’s no way you could handle that." It is the second part that is confusing me. I am assuming he means that since she isn’t as used to humiliation like he is, he thinks there wearing that for a day would be too much for her to bear. Am I right?

On the same page, I don't understand the line 超ビラx2のヤツ whatsoever.

On another page, I don't think I get the line「 こっちは試験勉強頑張りすぎてヌイてねえんだっつーの!!」 From what I can tell, it means something like "Is she seriously the same overstuding tryhard ~~ヌイて~~!?. I don't get it.

In this case, does のっ望む所だゼ mean something like "Is this what you wanted...!?" or "Is this where you wanted it...!?" or something else?

The line 早くイッ…ちゃえ! on this page is kind of confusing me a bit. I think she is saying "You hurry up…and cum!", but if that is so, I am wondering why she is using イッちゃえ instead of イッて.

On this page, my understanding is that やっちまった means "I did something I regret", but the context makes it seem that he doesn't regret it at all. I am confused.

Thanks for any help.

1- 一学期負けたからムリだったケド
Something like "But since I lost the whole first semester it was impossible." Implying they are either in second semester and/or swimming classes passed by the time he finally won.

2 - 超ビラx2のヤツ =超ビラビラのヤツ
"A super frilly one"

3 - こっちは試験勉強頑張りすぎてヌイてねえんだっつーの!!
Roughly something around the lines of "I was so into studying that I didn't even fapped!!"

4 - のっ望む所だゼ
"Just what I wanted"/"I wouldn't have any other way". The reason why there is a "?" is because he is shocked of her reaction so he screamed "のっ望む所だゼ" as an answer to her taunt yet the shock was still there.

5 - 早くイッ…ちゃえ
As an imperative of Te + shimau it sounds stronger than イッて.

6 - やっちまった
As far as I remember this expression also comes from te + shimau so it can express completion of a task, regret or mischievous behavior.

Can somebody help me understand these sentences better?:

ってねだってくるから 大変だ!

…自分の彼女の願いなら、
そりゃ叶えてやらないと!

It's about a request a boy made to a girl in the past and the boy is looking back to it. Thanks a lot if someone has the time to help me.

For example I'm not sure how to take って.

Seeing as that no one can help with my previous request, here's a new one. Can someone provide a translation for:

だいたい こんな 粗末なモノ

I know that こんな 粗末なモノ is something like "a crude thing such as this", but I'm not sure how だいたい changes it.

Hey all, i have a more general etiquette question.

I just finished most of the recent Dragon Quest doujin, Dragon Queen's https://e-hentai.org/g/709800/e7c2a13402/

I did everything except that weird guest artist part at the end, which seems to be some sort of Street Fighter story, is not hentai at all, decently crudely drawn, and (confronting my laziness) much denser on kanji (and a lot of words i don't know, unlike the main book which was a pretty easy run).

Do you lot think i can move forward with commissioning an edit without drawing any fire? I know the site tends to not like "incomplete" works, but there's really nothing of value in there that i can see...

Can't be sure about this one since I can't see the flow of the conversation/context, but it should be something around:

ってねだってくるから 大変だ!
Getting a request like that its no small matter!
…自分の彼女の願いなら、
そりゃ叶えてやらないと!
...If it were your own girlfriend's request, of course you must fullfill it.

QUOTE(kaomaru @ Jun 25 2014, 15:51) *

だいたい こんな 粗末なモノ

Without context I can only guess it adds a "in the first place" of what you already translated.

Right now all the fire is totally focused in this ABERRATION so I think you'll be fine.
Joke aside. I see no problem in releasing that doujin without the last pages translated. The average fapper in here doesn't care much about afterwords, bios, etc etc...

Thank you mate! Through this I noticed I made a mistake earlier and now it makes sense! Again, thank you.

剥ける [which is read むける] has the meanings to peel off/to come off/to be taken off

so maybe it's just to sound more colloquial? I don't know ^^

You know how hentai has stuff like 腰が勝手に動く or 腰が止まらない?

How do you write it in english?

Because some people complain if you translate literally.

I usually translate them as "I can't stop shaking my hips." I know it makes it sound like the character can't stop dancing, but I have yet to find anything that reads better. Maybe "I can't stop rocking my hips."?

Often a word "grind" is used for it, I think.

Also, as one exaggerated example,
"(彼女が)腰を振りまくり!" is sometimes translated as "like riding a bucking bronc!"

Well I would like some help again. Sorry for asking so often but you guys are always so helpful.

There are two bubbles I don't quite get:
私の気持ちは
一体どこに
持ってきゃ
いいんだよ!

It's the second line that confuses me.
From what I understand, the first line says that she is talking about her feelings. The third line says that she is kind of giving herself an order to wait. The last line is that it is good or okay or something like that.
The second line though is something about "where on Earth" or "what place", right?
I just can't make any sense out of it.

The other bubble I don't quite get is this one:
一応これも
明日
持ってくか...

Is she saying "that's it for today. I will bring it with me tomorrow" or something along those lines?

A lot of people translate it to "my hips are moving on their own" but yeah...

I think you're confusing 持(も)つ and 待(ま)つ in the third line, although you got the kanji right.
The third and fourth lines are a single construction:持ってきゃいい→持っていけばいい.
So literally it's "Where in the world should I take my feelings", and you could translate it to something like "What in the world should I do with my feelings".

It's more like "I guess I'll bring this too tomorrow".

Hope this helps.

Hey, guys! Just had a couple of questions.

In a bit of dialogue, two characters are talking about curry:

レトルトカレーじゃなくてカレーのルーの方を持ってきらちょうなんてゆいらしけどね

I'm having trouble understanding what kind of curry is "レトルトカレー". From the context, I guess it's some sort of instant curry or something? Also, what is the ルーin "カレーのルー"?

In a different story, a woman orders a prostitute to here home. When the prostitute arrives, she asks:

<桃猫館>のコンパニオンの人ね?

I'm having trouble with the word in the brackets. It's written like that in the text. I'm guessing that it's the name of the company that sent the prostitute? There's furigana written next to the kanji in the text that I think reads "とうひょっかん".

Can anybody help me out with this? Thanks!

"[www.google.co.jp] レトルトカレー" = "curry in a pouch (a pack of curry)"
"[www.google.co.jp] カレーのルー" = "curry roux"
