QUOTE(Slobber @ Oct 1 2013, 05:08) *
I was wondering if someone who's decent with hand writing could translate the bunch of text on the piece of paper in the 2nd panel

加藤クン
For Katou-kun

・第(old kanji)一仁田商事(株)
Daiichi Nida Commercial Co., Ltd.

(03)○○○-○○○

●●●●●●

・不佐世興産(有)
Busayo Industry Ltd.

(03)○○○○-○○

担当●●●
Person in Charge : ●●●

Well, "Daiichi Nida" means "we are the best" which is often used by Koreans to praise themselves and also used by Japanese to deride those Koreans.

And, "Busayo" means "ugly leftists" which is used to deride leftists in Japan.

So, I don't think you need to use these words in your translation.

Hmmm so both companies are kinda just "joke names". I think that's pretty funny so I guess we can include it in the edit.

For Katou-kun

Daiichi Nida Commercial Co., Ltd.
(leave numbers etc alone)
(leave scribbled contact names alone)

Busayo Industry Ltd.
(leave numbers etc alone)
(leave scribbled contact names alone)

And then just put a Translation Note for each on the credit page =)

Thanks again, Thira! =)

Um, hi. Could someone look over [removed] for this story and give me feedback on it, either here or (preferably) via personal message? Once again, thanks bfrost!

As you'll be able to tell, I'm a beginner at reading Japanese and need a lot more practice, so I thought that attempting to translate that story would be a good exercise since it looked relatively simple. Thanks in advance!

Edit: It occurred to me shortly after I posted that "自分の性的魁力(エロス)を わかってない娘…" might mean something closer to "She doesn't know about her own sex appeal...".

Hey, I need help, please.

I translated this line with the context but the script doesn't make sense to me:
お湯が... ...また太った?
Should we... fill the bath again?

Is there a joke I don't get or something? Well, the problem is I only know 太る as becoming fat.

And something that's been bothering for quite some time. I never know what to do with those ちょうだい. For example this one. What's the best way to translate it?
1) Take me with my lower mouth.
2) Please take me with my lower mouth.
3) I wanna receive you with my lower mouth.
4) Something else?

I think the problem you have here is that Japanese is very elliptic. It's actually: "[So much] water [spilled out of the bath]... Did you gain weight again?" The terms between brackets are just omitted in Japanese. Well, it's just one possible interpretation, but I think it's the most plausible one.

For ちょうだい, I'd say the main idea to remember is "please". In this particular context, you could translate it as "Please put [it] in my lower mouth." (Whatever [it] is...)

That "ちょうだい" simply means "give it (to me/my~)".

QUOTE(freudia @ Oct 4 2013, 01:45) *
From what I understand, ちょうだい is a casual way of saying 下さい that may also have a childish connotation to it.

No.

Oh, I got it wrong. You're definitely right about the things omitted.
And thanks for the clarification about ちょうだい you guys.

Hi guys. I'm back with more questions, once again.

So I've been trying to translate this: https://e-hentai.org/g/632527/29a5def46e/ I've translated most of it, but there are still a few points that are unclear to me:
- page 03, paragraph 5, last line:
QUOTE
まぁ、お尻だってマイナーだけど。
I can't make sense out of this. One of the author's been talking about Mikasa's abs and how they're her real form and the other tells him nobody would gain anything from it. And then comes that sentence... I just can't make sense out of it.
- page 19, J.C. Pandam's paragraph:
QUOTE
まぁ、気楽に描けたら描けた分だけをモットーにしばらくはノンビリやっていくつもりです!
I'm not exactly sure I have the structure right, but it's something like: "Well, I think I'll make 気楽に描けたら描けた分だけ my motto and relax for a bit." but what I don't understand is what 気楽に描けたら描けた分だけ means... I don't understand this use of 分だけ at all...

Thanks in advance.

Does the word "こんなん" have any other meaning or use besides "hard/difficult"?

Because I'm having trouble to understand the following:
"ぼ。。。ぼく。。。こんなんじゃなー!"

This is being said by someone who's being raped (no kanjis used, just hiraganas).
For a broader context, the rapist is asking (more like accusing that) whether the victim is enjoying because of the voice tone and body cues and the victim answers that line I mentioned.
I thought on the possibility of being meant to be said "興奮", which makes more sense in given the context.
Any opinions about this?

Thanks.

I think it's just a simple contraction of "こんなのじゃなー"... Though it would be easier to guess if you had given a link to the doujin or the page you have a problem with...

"ぼ。。。ぼく。。。こんなんじゃなー!"

That "こんなん" means "こんなの".
And "じゃなー" is "interrupted じゃない".
So, the sentence means "I... I'm... not like thiii...!"

Hi, could I receive assistance/advice on several lines.

From this page: てっきり男に 興味無いなんて 思ってたんだが
I guessed, "Certainly, I thought she wasn't interested in such a guy" but I'm not confident about what "who" is "not interested" in "what". She not interested in men, she not interested in a particular man, a guy not interested in whatever, etc.?

From this page: 今までに 付き合った子とは また違った楽しみが できそうだよ
"All the girls I've gone out with until now were different (from you) so I look forward to this"--completely off-base?

From this page
QUOTE
わたし... お兄に本気に なちゃう...
本気じゃなくて妹に こんな事出来るかよ!

Both lines look pretty simple but I'm stumped. For the first line I'm thinking "Onii... will seriously make me become..." but I just can't figure out how to interpret 本気 used in both lines.

Thanks very much in advance.

Edit: @yobi00 You have my gratitude! That helps a lot.

Mostly correct. "Looks like I'll be able to have a different kind of fun compared to the girls I've dated before"

I'll... become serious (i.e. "fall in love") about you...
I couldn't do such a thing (i.e. sex) to my sister if I wasn't serious about it.

Hope this helps.

Hello everyone!

I need some help with two sentences:

1. 巫女が来たりてちゅーをする - never seen this form before.

2. よりによってダメ出しかよ - (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Oh, and also this: 想像してたらガチでまりみょんも一度くらい挑戦してみたいかも

1. 巫女が来たりてちゅーをする - never seen this form before.

"来たりて" is "来至りて", and "来たる" means "(will) come (soon)".
So, "来たりて" means "(will) come (soon) and".
And, it's a parody of famous novel title "[www.imdb.com] 悪魔が来りて笛を吹く".

2. よりによってダメ出しかよ - (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

"ダメ出し" means "finding faults / judging someone negatively".

"想像してたらガチで" means "since I imagined it, I really (became to do)".

The second half of this one is throwing me off
"自分から腰使いまくってるくせに何言ってンスか”

https://e-hentai.org/s/9d7c24d39f/468488-10 <- context

I'm not sure who is saying it, for one, since it's in a different font than what she usually says when under the influence. "You're vigorously using your own hips and yet..." It's what's past kuse ni that's throwing me off. Is it "what are you saying?" Or is it more "you did" (the thing from the first half of the sentence) "without saying anything?"

I'm lost on this page.
1) 私達に声を掛けてきたチシマさん達も露出プレイが大好きだそうで。
2) プレイの参考にと調べている内に私達のサイトを見つけたそうです。
3) そこで私達は渡りに船という事で彼女達に撮影の手伝いを頼む事にしました。

Well, I guess 3) means This was a godsend for us since we could ask them to help us taking the photos.
But first halves of 1) and 2) are obscure.
What's 声を掛けてきた?
Is チシマさん達 Chishima-san and her boyfriend or Chishima-san's boyfriend?
