Items#Food QUOTE Monster food is used to feed monsters in the Monster Lab. They each feed against 2,000 hunger and come in 3 different tiers, each for monsters of different power levels. Can someone change 2000 → 1000? Thanks.

I thought it was 1250 or 1500 with 750 being no low grades

My Elemental Proficiency just reached Lv.175, and I unlocked the Wrath of Thor Spell. Please update the Spells page. This post has been edited by tetron: Sep 29 2014, 20:22

Only Wrath of Thor? I remember getting all four tier-3 Elemental Spells at the same time at 150 prof.
Are you sure you're looking at base proficiency?

Yep, all of the T-3 Elemental spells has been unlocked upon reaching Base 175 Elemental Proficiency (Not the Effective Proficiency). I'm playing Elec Mage for the past few days and didn't pay attention to other elemental spells. So I can't tell at which prof the other 3 T-3 Elemental Spells got unlocked.

My guess is that it's affected by both factors.

Playing with some data I acquired from a shrine dump provided by FATAL1T3 I looked at ratios of stuffs.
Staffs: Tier 1 Trophy Dump: Willow: 34.5% Redwood: 31.6% Oak: 31.6% Katalox: 2.3% Considering how tenboro does things. Likely a 2-2.5% chance of a rare tier (Katalox), and then an even chance for each of the common tier staffs if it fails the first roll. Would require more amounts of data since there were so few and it could just be probability fucking with me like normal.
Redwood: Something strange going on with Surtr, Tenboro needs to check it out. 406 points of data Destruction: 17.5% Focus: 18.2% Elementalist: 19.2% Freyr: 9.6% Mjolnir: 7.9% Niflheim: 8.9% Surtr: 18.5% Likely the weight of Surtr is off. I'm guessing it was put in as a weight of 2 instead of 1, giving it the same weight as Destruction, Focus, and Elementalist.
Willow: All three suffixes have near equal weights. 444 points of data Curse-Weaver: 33.6% Destruction: 34.5% Focus: 32.0% Likely all 1/3 chance of occurring.
Oak: Little more noise in this one. 406 points of data Focus: 35.7% Heimdall: 34.5% Earthwalker: 29.8% Still likely all 1/3 chance of occurring, or 7/20 for Focus/Heimdall each and 6/20 for Earth-Walker
Katalox: Not enough data, only 30 points.
DcyOau37f has a bunch of data from shrining things in posts that are linked in his signature. Stealing it and putting it here after combing through it.
1H: Wakizashis were very under-represented, but Axe, Shortsword, Rapier, and Club all have equal weights. I'm still going to assume a 2% chance with no tier multipliers. Suffixes are a pain since they are different for each weapon
Axe: Slaughter: 63.5% Vampire: 13.9% Illithid: 15.1% Banshee: 7.5%
Club: Slaughter: 29.3% Balance: 29.6% Battlecaster: 3.0% Nimble: 19.1% Vampire: 8.3% Illithid: 6.6% Banshee: 4.1%
Rapier: Slaughter: 30.5% Balance: 28.5% Battlecaster: 3.5% Nimble: 20.2% Vampire: 5.8% Illithid: 8.5% Banshee: 3.0%
Shortsword: Slaughter: 31.6% Balance: 31.6% Battlecaster: 4.3% Vampire: 8.4% Illithid: 10.0% Banshee: 3.5% Swiftness: 10.7%
2H: Katana's came out similar to Katalox in the staff data I have. ~2% with equal weightings for Longsword, Estoc, and Mace. Katana's showed that Slaughter/Balance have the same weights. For Longsword, Estoc, and Mace they appear to have close to the following chances. Slaughter: 38% Balance: 38% Battlecaster: 4% Vampire: 8% Illithid: 8% Banshee: 4%
Still some noise to hammer out in all of the data listed here, just not enough points yet, but it does leave me with some things to go off of. Perhaps the same thing goes for Suffix select as many other things, fixed ratio values that are either used or not depending other gear type generated. Notice how for everything listed, Slaughter and Balance are equal or near to it. Or that Focus, Destruction and Proficiency suffixes have the same thing going on. Just a thought.

If base chance is 2% for rares the following trophies have these tier multipliers. Data is rough as the amount of equipments used to determine it is below 1,000,000
Boss: 1x DcyOau37f got 50 rares for 3k trophies, below expected but within tolerance. Less then 1% exquisites.
Konata: 1x DcyOau37f got 41 for 2k trophies. Higher quality then Boss trophies, much less crudes. Variable between 1H, 2H & Shield. No Mags.
Schoolgirl: 1.5x DcyOau37f got 62 for 2k trophies. Higher quality the Konata. Around 2% crudes. Mags show up less then 1%
Sapling: 1.66x Dammon got 43 in 1281 trophies, I rounded to a reasonable number. No crudes showed up. More mags then Schoolgirls, but still less then 1%
Noodles: 4x matching what the wiki says for BT Ckyc got 85 in 1029. Nothing less then Superior was generated, and Superiors were less then 10%. 3% of the generated equipment was Legendary.

I tried shrining noodles for cloth once and i got some average and overall results shrining for staves was better.
