Is it possible the minimum for every stat roll is a 0, or at least much lower than recorded values, but we will never see it because there is always some amount of loot quality bonus raising the minimum roll that is generated?

Yep

And it may be possible there is no way to crack it

Token distribution rate needed. I'm predicting 60/40 for Chaos/Blood.

old wiki info
The chance to receive a gift is calculated when a player checks on them via the Monster Lab screen:
Gift chance (%) = # of hours since last check * Battles won since last gift * 2
Monsters can bring gifts without getting any kills, but the odds are quite low.[2]

new formula
Gift chance (%) = # of hours since last check * (Battles won since last gift +1) * 2

3rd line can be tossed

As I discussed with Joe, 'battles won' should be different from 'kills', as shown in the monster screen.

Should void damage be under mitigation? It does let you do more damage on average but I'm unsure of whether it's relevant since you can't change a monster's specific physical damage mitigation.

I consider it just another damage type. Monsters just so happen to have 0 mitigation.

Fixed, thanks. So there's only 1 source of anti-parry?

That depends on when the Absorb check is made. I've personally never gained proficiency on a turn when a spell gets absorbed, however I've only been in that situation with 1 monster about 15 times.

Well....yes. How to test that is actually the more difficult part.

Altered something on damage reduction. Check if the content's correct.

I think you forgot to consider Imperil for Fire/Cold/Elec/Wind magic damage under the mitigation section.

It really is not necessary for me to post this, but since HV is so stupidly slow right now...

----

Technically speaking, there are no difference between any of the Specific mitigation, so grouping them separately as 'Specific physical/magical mitigation' can be misleading; after all, MM does Pierce damage.

QUOTE(buktore @ Sep 18 2012, 13:55) *

The Damage Type, or the Element of an attack, is irrelevant to whether the attack is Physical or Magical, so all the elemental strike, while sounded like a magical attack, you're still attack with a weapon, hence still a physical attack.

In fact, the game itself considered the 4 main melee damage type (Crush, Slash, Pierce, Void) simply as yet another type of 'Element' and treat them identically to those of the real element— it even labeled them as such internally...

It's more like a deliberate trial to solve another FAQ: how PA and void works on mitigation.
Hm...I have twisted the layout. See if it's better.
