QUOTE(varst @ Jan 16 2012, 13:16) Good stuff there, wish I read that when I started instead of vaporizing my credits into the bazaar for garbage like frost armor lol till level 100. Btw, QUOTE 1. At lv. 130 you should get aranca focus, which greatly improves your accuracy.
I lol'd at that. This post has been edited by wr4st3r: Jan 16 2012, 14:51

Btw, I lol'd at that.
It's better than I thought it would be. 5-6 pages in MS word and I thought I may have to trim that down. Still, no detailed description on equipments/spells = improvements required. I was hoping to rewrite equipment advices and incorporate that into the overall advices. There are three ways to do so: 1. Include a part on general equipment suggestions in HV advice page, and move the detailed descriptions to equipment advices. 2. Shift all the advices about equipments to equipment advices, and put a link in HV advice page. 3. Put all those things in HV advices, and abolish equipment advice page. And the ultimate question would be: should there be HV advices in the wiki? Boggyb once suggested that posting in the forum seems to be a better idea. However, putting that in wiki can ensure that everyoneone will have a chance to correct incorrect advices arising from changes in patches Should wiki advice be kept as simple as possible, just like what Joe did; or should that be more informative so to lessen expert thread's workload on repetitive questions from new players? Definitely. Much easier than parsing the experts thread for info. If people have follow-ups they can always inquire in said thread. Maybe put complex suggestions/advice/info in caption boxes.

Blunted Attack should be 10% as well.
Does clearing an arena challenge on higher difficulties for the first time restore HP/MP? Yes, I just checked.

Oh boo. I verified that about 1 day after the new patch. Stamina restoration has been totally removed as well (even upon completion of a higher difficulty for the first time)

BackstabThe Poison proc lasts significantly shorter than the one from the spell when I use it (15 turns vs 150 turns). Oddly, however, it does different amounts of damage (or stacks in some odd way). Pre-Backstab: Spreading Poison hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 692 damage. Backstab's Poison: Spreading Poison hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 760 damage. Not a significant increase, and it doesn't last long anyways. Furthermore, Posion doesn't seem to always be added. Posts in the patch thread say otherwise since they don't appear to have Poison cast on the target, but Poison was only inflicted for me when the target was already poisoned. The one time FSM wasn't poisoned when I used Backstab led to no Poison being added (see below), and none of the regular enemies I used Backstab on got Poisoned either. QUOTE 169 4 The effect Penetrated Armor on Flying Spaghetti Monster has expired. 169 3 Backstab hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 137701 void damage. 169 2 You gain the effect Chain 2. 169 1 You use Backstab. Frenzied BlowsNo clue how the mechanics of this works. The first time I used this on FSM yesterday, it hit FSM 14 times during the only time I counted how many time it hit. Using it on a fight with 3 bosses led me to discover it hits all enemies (in order from A to J), and I assumed that the 14 is split among all the enemies (I didn't count the total number of hits). Using it today on a group of 6 (or maybe 7) enemies, Frenzied Blows appears to alternate between 2 and 3 hits per enemy. No clue if it spreads out to 1 and 2 hits when there's 8-10 enemies since I didn't feel like going that far in Crysfest (didn't really have the time to either). In my situation, Frenzied Blows did either 15 (if 6 enemies) or 17-18 hits (if 7 enemies). Testing on FSM today proved to make it even more confusing. 1 time provided about 12 hits. I only remembered to count the amount of times it hit the 2nd time when the text for that turn was half-gone, but based on the text I got from another battle, it seemed to hit FSM 18 times. Probably has some sort of range determining the number of times it can hit an enemy. That's all I got in terms of more specifics. This post has been edited by HaliZorat: Jan 23 2012, 09:59

Take your time, not like the people asking questions are actually going to look at it. They will just spam the Ask the Experts thread
