Uhm I don't get it. Why would someone bid millions for 1 hath? Are you implying that those are all the same user trying to transfer credits? I thought we could already do that without "auction snipping". I don't know how Tenboro did that, but the bot was thinking it's biding 5,000 credits for 1 hath but actually it was either that huge ass ammount of credits or simply all credits they had left. You see the time from Tenboros auction to "bots are bad mkay" auction, during those 10 minutes he worked up that shit.

Where do I find these hath auctions? Is it on the forums or in the hentaiverse bazaar?

Doubt it, they were sniping hath with low buy-outs. Demand's still pretty high.

QUOTE(cyberwaveIT @ Nov 28 2011, 04:54) Could this be one of the reasons on what's driving the Hath prices up? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Maybe a small part of it, but there are just too many people buying hath for the explanation to be that easy. Although bots are indirectly responsible since the introduction of stamina as a counter-measure and the sweeping changes to Grindfest and to a lesser degree Arena that resulted have played a big part.

I was looking at that and thinking "OMG I should have put an auction up at 5K right then so those noobs would buy it" or something like that. Then I noticed it was just the penalty.
LOL, why would someone offer hath at 5K? Or was it a test to see if someone would fall for it? I guess Tenboro made a 'test' posting and noticed that people were buying it instantly if under 10K. Bam, instant penalty. I'm still thinking that they were the same person.

Will the price of Hath ever drop?
As it continues to appreciate in value, it might drive some players to "underhanded" means (as can be seen already) to obtain more of it (even hogging).
Wonder if Tenboro (or anyone else) has kept track of Hath since its introduction? Is the recent uptrend normal or a spike? If there is, perhaps this trend can be published to be shared with everyone?
I'm currently not in a position to contribute monetary to obtain more Hath. So it's back to basics on trying to generate more credits, & hopefully by then, exchange the credits for Hath (at a reasonable rate), just so as to be able to unlock the perks & enjoy whats in store.

Hath is indeed expensive, and, while I am in an okay-ish position to donate something, I've been getting the feeling that there is a catch to the system. We use Paypal here, right?

Inflation is a ridiculous thing. Kind of amazing that it happens in a virtual economy as well when there really isn't any change of value for the currency or any real difference in rate of acquisition.

Delicious 6.0 patch? :3 Seriously, I wonder if it is because of many people joined this game recently or rather cause of that huge game revamp. Mages are still op, hurr hurr. I still dont want to be a mage, hurr. And yes, bows. Please. Pretty please~

QUOTE(radixius sparkle @ Nov 28 2011, 08:09) any real difference in rate of acquisition.
Donators got their dawn hath increased. More and more people are getting better internet connections so the percentage of the userbase that sign up for H@H is also growing. A bigger mystery is the rate of demand shouldn't have risen so much since only 1 new Hath Perk tree was added recently. The only factors that might matter a lot is that new donations / adopt-a-servers haven't been done in a while. Also the amount of hath from artifacts seems to not give 4 anymore and now energy drinks and another +10 stats are possibilities which lower the chances of getting hath. The first noticeable increases seems to start on month 493. Assuming 510 is November 2011, 493 should be June 2010. 0.4.7 was released on May 2010 and it doesn't really change anything Hath-related. I wonder if Hath price and number of active players is directly related.

QUOTE((Cheater) Tiap @ Nov 28 2011, 19:01) The first noticeable increases seems to start on month 493. That's certainly one of the causes. I remember when Hath started rising from 2k which it had always been at to 4k. It coincided about with the time that a number of players were reaching really high level especially those who were reaching the schoolgirl run arenas. At the time you could make a LOT of money off of selling items to the bazaar which dropped frequently for high level players and, in addition, the schoolgirls dropped trophies every turn in the run so a LOT of money could be made from the equipment there when you traded them for staffs (which sold for a lot back then), so high level players got an extreme amount of credits (relative to the rest of the players). The next patch, patch 0.4.8, drastically reduced the amount of credits you got from selling items and also limited the number of trophies you got from schoolgirl runs by making it only a 10% chance to drop for the non-last rounds. And you can see this patch had the effect of halting the rise of Hath cost at 4k, and even dropping them slightly for a short time. Hath cost stabilized for the next few months, but once the stamina patch reduced grindfest credit limitations, Hath costs skyrocketed. This was most likely compounded by the introduction and development of monster lab monsters, which gave much more experience than the old ones and lead to higher level players who could farm credits more easily (and want Hath perks more). And then the damage revamp made everything faster and thus more people doing more rounds for more credits. Also somewhere along the line artifact rewards started getting crowded with crystals and items that made Hath appear less (and no longer came in groups of 4), but more and more artifacts are appearing so I don't know how much of an effect that's had.
