So yeah, multiple spells on monsters primarily, which spells stack with which and which cancel each other out?

As for spells on yourself, except for frost/flame/lightning/storm spikes, of which you can have only one, and heartseeker and arcane focus cancels each other.
Do the regen spells stack? Can you have both Regen I and Regen II on you at the same time?

But the main question is about stacking spells on monsters, since that's where you get the most problems, the buff spells that cancel each other out are of the type that you only really need one of those anyways, but that is not the case for monsters.

Just to post all of the deprecating spells so we have a list to start from.
Poison
Slow
Weaken
Sleep
Confuse
Bewilder
Blind
Silence
Nerf
X-Nerf
MagNet
Lifestream

The only ones I have really tested is weaken and silence, which cancels each other out.

So to try and list it.
For buff spells.
All stack with the exception of
Frost/flame/lightning/storm spikes
Arcane focus/heartseeker
Regen I/Regen II

For deprecating, the following does not stack with each other
Silence/weaken
Silence/blind
Slow/sleep/confuse
Blind/bewilder
Nerf/X-nerf

- Regens do not stack.
- Bewilder and Blind cancel each other.
- Silence cancels Blind and Weaken (and vice-versa).
- Silence does not cancel Bewilder, although it's obviously pointless to use both.

Everything that's not mentioned in the wiki stacks AFAIK.

Do nerf stack with X-nerf, or is the latter merely the first spell being cast on multiple enemies?

Good to know. I'm only level 41 so I don't even have most of that but still good for the future.

Question though, is there anything else that can cancel the spell before its duration ends? Like before all the updates, I believe sleep was cancelled if you hit the critter with physical or magical attacks.

Sleep says that specifically, it also applies to Confuse. Last I checked hitting/casting on a ether theft target (not CM) will remove the effect.
