QUOTE(Randommember @ Sep 20 2011, 23:48) Maxed it out? Completely? No resistance tanks to put it into? Which requires points into the spells etc....?
Yea I used to have the same problem. (also bitched about it in: Can We Has) I'm glad to report I haven't gotten an ability point for some time. Yup, A L L my abilities are maxed. This post has been edited by Bunko: Sep 20 2011, 23:03

I'm not sure but I remember that Tenboro said that you'll need AP to unlock special abilities on monsters.

Not that I'm currently playing, but I still read this thread and this caught my interest QUOTE(dolphinslow @ Sep 20 2011, 11:00) was just wondering, has anyone ever thought of adding food into the pool of items? it could be a way for people to heal stamina without having to buy energy drinks. just have monsters drop food items that could be consumed for a few points of stamina. it would be neat and help people who are having bad luck with getting artifacts to get energy drinks
Food items does sound interesting, especially if Tenboro implements it with an unneededly over-complex cooking system that eats up even more of our credits. (cough) Unfortunately, I believe Tenboro made it clear many times there will be no alternative method to restore stamina. But what would be interesting would be food items that give various buffs that work similarly to how great stamina currently works. I don't think it'd be too hard to implement either if the buff was tied to a certain amount of stamina expended. For example, a 10% physical damage buff that lasts for "5 stamina". And monsters drop various ingredients for us to cook with. Ooh, I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it. This post has been edited by dkplee: Sep 21 2011, 23:28

Hrm. That gave me an idea for a good way to replace/make power gems more interesting. Rather than having 1 gem slot, at the trainer you can purchase empty bottles. In combat you can collect special powerups (ie. if we extend the Zelda idea borrowing, fairies, blue fire, etc.) the same way you collect gems, but you can train up to four bottles. You can also fill the empty bottles with potions you create before entering combat, but you wont be able to collect powerups until at least one bottle is empty. For filling bottles before combat, i was thinking of either using the suggested new cooking system with new monster items specifially for cooking or a potion alchemy system that lets you combine potions (ie 3 mana elixirs combine into a bottle use only Mage's Blessing or somesuch that give a bonus X% magic damage for Y rounds)

i don't feel a change in gem drops at all, then again, i have weird luck with gems.
wait 30 rounds to get one gem, get 3 gems in the same round.
yep.

hope that next patch will keep going to make game less boring and less nerdy... after stamina the game finally became more casual and less addictive
but it's still a bit boring especially doing everyday arena for credits drops
i think it's ok to give ability to players to switch builds in example mage build redistribute exp point towards int/wis, while melee goes for strength
it can be done defining a percentage of shift between builds for every attribute, redistributing exp to get the optimal attributes
give ability to also destryo items (instead of selling them) to get materials for crafting
health potions can be removed

Then why would we create Monsters? Just to make the game harder for ourselves?

Lets not, I keep one around in case i get swatted low and several mobs still have mana, one cure isn't gonna save my ass, so that nice big chunk of life + constant return for a short time has saved my butt lately where a mana potion would've just made me waste it and the arena/item world/whatever from a double or triple skill turn.

This patch has added to my health potion usage, not eliminated it.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Sep 8 2011, 11:13) I'm aware of the thing with the titles. It's a bit more complex than just "fixing" it as it's an order of initialization problem, but it's on my list. It's not like people are missing any damage in the meantime.
Effects still work as advertised, through.

I have noticed that when I upgraded my equipment's level through IW, sometimes the stat is not updated to reflect the current level's value. I am not sure why it's happening, and I have to pull an equipment from my set and putting it back again in order for the stat to be updated.
