thanks for the new quickbar system it can be convienient to have same weapons in the same set
now with new dmg normal seems cake and fox does damn good
pleez need a increase of quickbar to 15 slots
well with all that cheap crystals, in a month the monsters will be maxed out, good luck for the ones over lvl 200 don wanna level

Indeed they are. I'm afraid of letting any single magic mob try to cast something because chances are it'll kill me while I still have 2k+ HP. And indeed, they did that twice today, even when I was trying to silence/bewilder them. This post has been edited by Koudesu: Sep 6 2011, 16:14

We need a fix for that, or access to spirit shield at a much earlier level. Also, absorption kinda sucks I think, considering that it removes a set amount of damage, and damage has been heavily increased. It has just not stayed in relation to the changed damage. And same thing for heals. It's kinda nasty when I cast a heal and still go negative in hitpoints, since a single mob can hit me harder than I can heal (with a good hit).

Sell stat points back and get endurance? :/ So it's the spells that seem to be doing the 2k+ crits? Ouch, much hurt for warriors. I seem to get those kinds of hits on higher difficulties from the melee hits, so it's a shock when Real Life does thousands from a special move! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) XP

This is a little crazy right...? Happened halfway through a 20 round arena.
5 5 You have been defeated. 5 4 Star strike crits you for 1442 piercing damage. 5 3 Star Saphire uses Star strike
My max health is 880 - I have over 50 endurance, all the HP tanks, decent armour and shield was up.
Edit: this was on Hard which I've never had any difficulties with before!

well, it seems that magical attacks even at normal are way too powerful to the point to gettin one shots at lower level
at my level with spark and mana floods i can somehow suvive it, but the lower ones?

At lower levels... we die.
At least I would be, but I've not been playing as much because of this. I need potions just to make it through the arenas now. Ether theft is very rare now because the staffs hit for so much more -- and even then the massive damage sustained makes the probability of using more mana healing than gained in the attempt a lot higher -- and I need to keep Shield, Regen, and Shadow Veil up almost constantly or else I could easily die any turn, even with a full HP bar. Actually I still can, but at least I need less luck to survive that way.
It really is kind of crazy. I know I don't have top quality gear like the big boys do, but wow. Unfun.
Speaking of equipment, however... it at least seems like I'm getting an increased number of equipment pieces. No good ones yet, but at least there's more of a chance.

Since my exquisite equipments also get boosted, I would guess it is applied during scaling. I may confirm it later after I have sorted out those new attributes.

Equipment drop rate as arena rewards does seem to have increased somewhat (of which a lot of maces have been dropping for me). I've also been getting a powerup gem about every 3 rounds or so as well. Not sure if I was just luckier than usual.

I think you're just being lucky. The mana potion drop rate is outstanding now though. I've gotten 50 or so godly mana potions in the past 3 days, and plenty of crystals to boot, just from doing daily arenas. The power up gems, not so much. Sometimes I go a few dozen rounds without ever seeing one. Sometimes I get a mana gem every other round, which is a godsend, personally (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

With the new update I finally tried beating one of the uber bosses. I took a shot at Real Life and got by him rather easily. All it cost me was a Soul Stone and a Flower Vase (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Before the update happened I was convinced that I would have to level up to 200 before even trying this again. Before the change took place, I fought Real Life with 2 Bubblegums, 2 flower vases and 2 soul stones. I only took away half his hp before he killed me. I think I was at level 140 and he was 138 or 137 and he still beat my ass with 2 shots, oh sure he let me feel good about myself for awhile but somebody gave the go home signal and he decided to wrap up the fight (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) As far as weapons getting pimped out, ive been using a Fine Club Of Slaughter since buying it during that week in Easter where we got all those goodies, now the thing has been boosted to 770.13 weapon damage with a 382.29 crushing. It also has stun effect on it so at this point I don't think I will find a replacement anytime soon (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I didn't read that part earlier in the week about the Fire/Frost/Bolt/ gems dissapearing. But I did notice them not showing up anymore and it took me awhile to 1+1 and come back to this thread and read it again. To be honest, the element gems seemed out of place now that you can gain the elemental attacks themselves from the ability page. Right now, Mana Gems are 2 or 3 times more valuable than they were before the update I think. Especially in arena battles where you will most likely blow through your mp just trying to stay in decent shape worrying about those freak attacks.
