i learned that trying to think of something that you learned today can be difficult...especially if all you do is sit at a computer from 4 am to 8 pm

I learned some Ochem and Physics...and that the MCAT, or its preparation, will probably kill me.

I learned today that by being a perv you can spot a pickpocket burglar in the bus.

I learned that money is an illusion.

I learned some people are just now learning that.

I learned that I am behind the learning curve. ..well moreso than I thought.

I learned today that no matter how bored you are, you can still get more bored every single frigging second that passes

I learned that there's a company called King Leo that manufactures giant peppermint sticks, roughly the length and density of a policeman's billy club. My sister got a bunch of them for 50 cents each and gave me one. I'm pretty sure I could bludgeon a man to death with it if I really wanted to. I'll probably just eat it, though.

They make these soft peppermint puffs, too. I love having one after a meal if I'm not having tea.

I didn't learn this today, but I learned it recently and I was reminded of it last night so:

Ebonics is actually considered a language for study at certain universities now. I got a friend who is a linguistics major with a minor in classical literature and he's the one who informed me. I think its pretty funny that an entire new dialect was born out of ignorance. But looking at hit from a historical perspective, it's not like the blacks in this country ever had a good start. As slaves they couldn't learn to read and write, and centuries later when they finally earned their supposed 'freedom' they were already generations behind the learning curve. Even upon emancipation it was near impossible for a freed black to get education. Hell, we've barely overcome the struggling era of the civil rights movements, so its no wonder Ebonics grew so widespread.

A great number of the "oppressed black legions" don't try, either. So it's not all on The Man's shoulders.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I learned that the E-Hentai site has a forums.

I remember-learned that I didn't have any big meal for the entire day.... now I know why I'm hungry.....
Eating almost nothing for an entire day is probably not bad.... but MAN, I'm not yet used to things like that!

I learned that this sweater-and-sweatpants combo makes me feel like some kind of thug while simultaneously giving me an excuse not to leave the house.
