QUOTE(FourThirteen @ Nov 3 2011, 05:10) I fail to see anything odd there. There are plenty of digital online card games, and they always use anime-style art of pubescent girls in order to attract pubescent boys to play the game.
Eh, I think I'm just behind the times, I just bought a Game Cube a day ago, before that my main system was a SNES...hell I didn't get a "modern" computer until two years ago (that computer was still five years old, refurbished piece of shit)...and before that computer I had a windows '98. Yeah, I've been livin' under a rock, so I find some of the more "normal" games rather strange. I also just realized this is the first forum I've ever posted in, I feel so left behind...

Well, if you have a Gamecube and like card games, look into playing Baten Kaitos. I need to find somebody else who actually thought it was fun. Same for BK: Origins.

Oddly enough, I ordered it (BK: Origins) already via amazon...it looked interesting.

Sweet. I actually love Origins more than the first game. It's a typical JRPG in a lot of ways, but it does a lot differently. I threw my arms up and rejoiced when I found out the party gets restored to full health after every battle. No more managing health items. Also, semi-spoilers: Spoiler text - Highlight to read... Your party never gets bigger than 3 people.

Ah, thanks for the heads-up with the semi-spoiler, but I'm unsure where to start (I also ordered Fire Emblem for GC). I've always been a fan of card/strategy/rpg games. So far my favorite game ever was Ogre Battle 64, I was lucky enough to have a friend loan me her N64 and the game (I bought the cartridge despite not having a N64, I just liked it so much I wanted it in my collection even if I couldn't play it...then I found out about emulators (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ). It was a bitch getting it to run on PC...still has some missing graphics.

I probably could've been a Fire Emblem fan. Just never really gave it a chance.

QUOTE(FourThirteen @ Nov 2 2011, 19:55) I know. My post was a loose Flintstones reference. I figured nobody would get it. I did it just for me.
Also, I took a defensive driving course today. Guess how much I learned.
Defensive driving course??? What is your defensive driving course like?

Basically just an old dude bores us with stories for a few hours, talks about how to avoid road rage, and plays some sad videos to scare folks into being more careful on the road. One long day for a discount on car insurance.

That sounds extremely brutal. My sympathies...

I've learned that boredom has a limit.

It has? Dayum, never noticed that... maybe I should try harder.

What does that mean? When you reach the limit, you start having fun?

No, you just don't get more bored.

I learned that having thoughts is not a prerequisite for people to post in the Last Thing You Thought threads.

Some people actually come to these threads and create thoughts to post in them.

Some do less than that. I've read at least a few posts that had nothing in them that resembled a thought.

I use the term "thought" loosely.

So they're "loose" thoughts.
One more thing they have in common with stool.

DP, but it's a new day so I don't care. [ imgur.com] This site's commenters do not like to read other comments, but still like replying to them.
