Today I learned something really interesting—some plants can actually get nutrients by “eating” meat! For example, the pitcher plant has leaves that form a kind of “trap” structure filled with liquid. When insects accidentally fall in, the pitcher plant can absorb nutrients from them to help itself grow better. This way of survival makes me realize how amazing nature is and also deepens my understanding of plant diversity.
