Much like Lolicon, I took this name because I like Doom.
Besides, Cyberdemon kicks ass.

Got mine from fucking up Catholic one day after I hadn't slept for around 72 hours and I decided it wasn't enough. I had just played FFVIII for like 12 hours straight and added Squall to the end. That's how I came to be CathickleSquall on the internet, and Xbox Live, and eventually PSN.

It's based off an image from several hard drives ago that shows fayt from SO3 killing a bunch of guys with this psychotic grin on his face. So came the name "blackfayt" a joke of it self as it's pronounced "blackfate" which would hint towards an unhappy life of some kind. Unfortunately the internet had several "blackfayt"s so I dropped the C.

A sarcastic username due to my deflating belief in the trilogy.
Another reason is an opinion rant in a matrix forum from an anti-redpill that feels Neo is a threat to his reality should it turn out the matrix is real. Quite a good post even though i disagree with the reasons stated in said rant.

I like movies and so everytime there are movies, i see their trailers and see if it's worth it to watch it in theaters. One time, while i was watching IpMan on an airplane, i only caught up the end scene cause i was asleep. I only woke up near the end scene. I wanted to watch it and ended up researching on it. It was then i came to the point that ipman was somehow connected to JetLi or something and there is a guy called leungbik, who maybe was one of his masters( i forgot). I ended my research on ipman but the name leungbik got stuck in my head. Also, i didnt find anyone using such an unfamiliar name so i used it as a username. There i got LEUNGBIK.

When I was a lurker many years back, I saw a lot of members with their own great and unique avatars in this forum (looking at you, Rob Itagaki (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)). And so, the name greatavatar springs into mind. Not that hard, really.

It's a roughly translation of my last name, but lately I've seen it swarming in some anime/manga. Anyway, mine was before this (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

When I first started using the internet (about 3 years ago) I joined a Naruto forum. I tried to use the simple name "Anto", but it was already taken. Since I was only joining out of curiosity (it was the first forum I ever joined) I decided to choose a variation. Gaara of the Sand was my favourite character, so I thought, "what the heck?"

A couple of weeks later I joined up here and wasn't arsed thinking up anything new. After that, it just kinda stuck.

I wanted to have something that sounds really nerdy and remotely japanese(because this site is about japanese fanart, duh) so one could have an amusing picture in mind reading the it.
I just let my actual name run through an rum and monkey japanese name generator, and that's what came out.
That generator is weird, one puts the name Steve in it and something like Tokimaru comes out.

Guess there's no point in hiding the scheme behind mine anymore. Anyone who cared to figure it out already has.

Mine's basically inspired by Mick Mars of Motley Crue. He's known to associate with the number 1313. I did the same thing he did to come up with my own number. 413 could be taken as a meaningless string of integers though, so I spelled it out so I wouldn't be just another number name.

The 'c' stands for something.

As to what that something might be, the debate still rages on...

only humans need names, they need names for their pets, they need names for their tools, they need names for their gods, but most importantly they need names for themselves. they need these names because ther are too inferior to recognise each other by thoughts alone and need names to convey their cognitive functions, i a god that humans have named do not need, or even know for that matter, the name given to me.........

that and i dont want certain ppl recognising me if they ever come here >.>

Humans don't always need names, but it gets confusing when you always have to ask people "Have you seen that one guy?" Proper nouns are handy like that for conveying the thought of a specific person. But hey, if you're telepathic then good for you.
