I've liked mechs since I was a kid. I grew up watching Gundam and playing Armored Core, so it seems kind of normal for me to include mech in most of my usernames. I felt my username for this site was appropriate.

Its the name of my fictional character, which is a Russian Spetsnaz operative serving for the Spetsgruppa Alfa and is one of the best soldiers ever serving in Russia's military.

Originally, this was a shortened version of the phrase 'throwaway account' I used in various places.
The name grew on me after a while, and nowadays I use it more often than my original name.

Origin was as a mixture of Demyx and Axel years ago. Coincidentally is the name of a commercial painter from Germany, though it seems to also be some type of slang for pixels.

I now keep it because most places don't have it or my further deviations of it, such as Azure_Dexel, Dexelt, and so on.

It was around the time when "Hellsing Ultimate" became popular with ALUCARD the lead protagonist whose name is the reverse of DRACULA (you get my drift...) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

This was the name of my first computer. At the time I couldn't really think of any cool or creative names for myself. It stuck after a while and has been part of my net life ever since.
