From the Ender series, also in reference to the ancient greek philosopher.

QUOTE(Ser6IjVolk @ Jan 10 2012, 20:02) My original was GreyWolf. No I'm not a furry, it just sounded cool. But apparently I was nowhere NEAR being the only person who thought that. So I decided to "translate" it to make it something unique. I was playing an online game where the Russian version of l33tsp34k was popular for naming characters at the time. And so what you see on the left was born. It kind of looks silly in retrospect, but I'm used to it.
I always thought the russian word for Wolf was written with a "g".... DAMN YOU METAL GEAR SOLID!!!!

I had to create a nom de plume for editing doujin and I tried to think up a new one. I think it is clever wordplay, but most people just see it as a head-scratcher so evidently I failed.
Sine nōmine is Latin for "without a name", it is very similar to anonymous but more used in reference works to anonymous letters than used by the authors themselves to withhold a name. Simply shoved a の in there instead of no to connect it to Japanese.

You're confusing Gray Fox and Sniper Wolf. I think... I really don't understand 99% of your posts. You're an adorable little shit, though.

Bleh, I hate scat, no matter how nicely you dress it.... And I actually meant colonel Volgin, because he's russian, and I remember russian pals telling me that "Volg" means wolf (they didn't spell it, it just sounded to me like that) Have YOU actually ever explained how you got your name (I mean the Itagakalooie, not the current one (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)) This post has been edited by Benjiro: Jan 16 2012, 12:46

I spent most of my childhood playing video games with my father. At first my name was just as a joke when we played together but after a while it stuck and I realised that I didn’t really have any better ideas for a name... and so I still use it today despite people constantly thinking I’m a twelve year old because of it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Son of dad?
Yeah. That was my suggestion. It's sort of a catchall.

No, I ask Tenboro for my account back. He obliged and I came back with a clean warning log and everything intact.
As the kids say, shit was so cash.

My username comes from a misprint in a local newspaper headline. I used to be a pretty good cricketer; my nickname was 'Cat' due to the way I'd dive about to stop the ball (in an effort to avoid having to chase the damn thing). I had an amazing game against strongly-fancied cup opponents where I beat them pretty much single-handedly. The paper headline was clearly meant to say: 'Champions Fall To The Skill Of Mighty Cat' but somehow the 'Of' was printed as 'Oh' and 'Oh Mighty Cat' stuck. Amazingly boring but true.
