Thanks again to catdrag0n for cleaning several difficult pages for me. I don't know if I conveyed this clearly with my translation, but to be clear the two are just close friends at the beginning of the story. They're teased by the older people as being a couple, but they aren't actually together at first.

The raw was pretty crappy, but I did my best to make it presentable.

On another note, I'm willing to start taking requests again. But, I really don't want to be overwhelmed with requests, so try asking at least a couple other translators on this list before approaching me.

Can you provide a link to a gallery you've done for someone else? Remember that it has to be different from the one you provided for this bounty. Otherwise, you'll have to use the general rate (which would be 16k C + 16 hath; huh, you're almost there anyway).

Okay, I've accepted your bounty. Should be done in a bit.

As to your question, I don't think so. I'm not real clear about how it works in LWB, but any collaborations strictly between you and a translator do not count. To get the editor's rate, a project has to have been commissioned/requested by someone outside the translating/editing process (i.e., the person contributed only money/a bounty/nagging).

I intended to do this at the end of the year, but I don't think I can wait until then, so I'm announcing it now: Effective immediately, I am retiring from the bounty business. There are a couple reasons why--work in RL has gotten busy, there are just so many requests, I'm being asked to translate stuff I find boring/a turnoff--but the main reason is that I translate for fun, and when I start to dread rather than enjoy receiving a request, it's pretty obvious that I should stop. I will continue to upload personal translations, and I am willing to trade translations for favors (e.g., large editing tasks, access to scans of rare doujinshi), but I will no longer accept translation requests.

Oh, and don't blame Skeleton Snax for this, it's been building up in me for a while. He just happened to luck out in getting the last completed bounty.

Well, you've helped me alot and i'm certain everyone appreciates it too. I'll still be doing editing around for favors so feel free to ask whenever you need it. =3

Honestly I vaguely expected it since the moment you put up the translation concept. When I saw you change your title to "Overworked Translator" that just further cemented my expectation.

I think it'll suck for the guys that still want that 1 shot they really liked (which I think was the main reason you set this thread up to begin with)

But I think it'll be better for all of us in the long run since a happy translator makes the translator cove a happier place (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
