It does indeed work. Just that you need to fill out the monsters yourself.....and add more slots to the script, since only 5 slots for each category is kinda small.

Little ~bump, help this sad sack lol.
I got the extension for Chrome, I downloaded the sample script and the updater stuff from Ballistic, but I don't know how to use the javascript file and the xls updater to personalize the stuff...
Slight ot: is it normal for Chrome's HV screen to 'flash' a moment right after an attack?

Open the *.js file in notepad, follow the instructions from the OP link: [ userscripts.org] http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/107545By 'flash' do you mean the monster boxes not immediately displaying?

QUOTE(Ballistic9 @ Jan 14 2012, 12:29) Open the *.js file in notepad, follow the instructions from the OP link: [ userscripts.org] http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/107545Man I'm so bad at this... Following the instructions it's easy enough but, when I do ctrl+shift+j and open the script panel in Chrome I actually cannot find monster_sensor.user.js (either by searching for it, or by looking at the drop-down list)... Since editing the script itself doesn't seem to work (or rather, I cannot find where to), I take I can edit your sample script, right? Only, after I do that, how do I import it? Thanks for helping me out btw Balli ^^;; QUOTE(Ballistic9 @ Jan 14 2012, 12:29) By 'flash' do you mean the monster boxes not immediately displaying?
Well basically each time I attack (doesn't happen when I buff myself, but does happen with spells and debuffs) the monster box (actually, the log box too) disappears for a very brief while. It's nothing major, but wanted to check if it was just me... This post has been edited by wr4st3r: Jan 14 2012, 20:15

Thanks for helping me out btw Balli ^^;; No worries (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Never tried editing a script within Chrome, always did it outside with notepad. I uninstall + reinstall the addon whenever it needs to be updated. Just drag the .js file into any open tab to install. Options > Tools > Extensions to see installed addons (and uninstall). Yay, thanks Balli! Made my version starting from your sample script, basically chose all the monster classes with the highest number of PL 250+ monsters (according to the wiki page), it's awesome! You think it'd be technically feasible for Monster Sensor to have 13 categories, one for each monster class? Not really a big deal since the classes left out hardly matter given their numbers (and one simply memorizes what's left off), but it'd be cool to have a different color for each one of them. :] QUOTE(Ballistic9 @ Jan 14 2012, 21:48) I always chalked that up to lag X(
Oh I see... One gets used to it though, Chrome is so fast! This post has been edited by wr4st3r: Jan 16 2012, 15:00

Update: A brand-new colour scheme and fully updated to detect all top 50 or so monsters with PL over 640 listed in the Monster Lab Bestiary. Got a parser of the Monster Lab Bestiary page working, so I can give timely updates when people add/update monsters in the bestiary. This post has been edited by Jack Nicholson: Nov 5 2012, 03:49

Weekly update for new monsters that have been added to the Monster Lab Bestiary through generous efforts by users Nwbell6 and Maximum Joe. It'd be great if one of you high level players could tell me if the sensor's working as intended, because I'm too low level to encounter 600+ PL monsters. Hmm, that's interesting. I'll take a look at that. edit: Can you tell me some more details? Does it only happen with some monsters in particular? Did it only happen with Master Nemesis and Succubus? This post has been edited by Jack Nicholson: Nov 13 2012, 07:23

I will take some screen shot about that today.
But I modified the monster lists in the script for particular uses. ex : move eila501 and sakurai kei to the same group.

Oh okay. That's perfectly fine, you just have to adjust the "SIZEC" and "SIZEI" parameters to perfectly match the number of monsters in that particular group to prevent unexpected bugs from happening. e.g. SIZEC goes down by 1. SIZEI goes up by 1. Alternatively, you can keep SIZEC the same and make a placeholder where you took out eila501, but you still have to make sure to increase SIZEI by 1. e.g. c[0] = 0. SIZEC stays the same. SIZEI goes up by 1. edit: I'll wait for your screenshots. This post has been edited by Jack Nicholson: Nov 13 2012, 08:26
