I don't think that it's a spoiler to warn that the leaked episode, meant to be aired on OCT 31, is Halloween-themed. So i guess you could choose to wait for the official date.

Personally, i regret nothing. Halloween isn't a thing in my life anyway.

I haven't watched Friendship Games. But I read a rumor that

Sunset Shimmer had finally become an Alicorn.
I felt my heart as though it is about to explode. Maybe I'll watch the movie within this week even if there is no HD source yet.

As far as I understand, some people complained about the weak antagonist(s), S.Shimmer taking the whole spotlight and the 'nonsense' that all students from crystal empire were douchebags.

To be honest though I don't see any reason to dislike it. The story was quite refreshing compared to the previous movies and the "villain time" was definitely unexpected.

Also I like the hidden message that VIP mentality can turn you easily into an obnoxious personality. Trixie is an exception of course XD
