I got to wonder what will happen in season 2 if they show Derpy (real name confirmed to be Ditzy) and she isn't like we all think, or she doesn't have Dinky.

New season starts September 17th.

And they repeat season one's opening by doing a two-part plot involving another previously-sealed evil pony and having to get their magic HARMONY jewelry out of pawn.

They really should do a few episodes based around a dilemma with a consistent antagonist.

I kinda want a tiny little Desk Derpy plushie. Something like 6-8 inches so it can sit on my desk and give me some lulz.

I heard on ED that season two will be less slice of life and a little more plot driven. We'll just have to see what happens. I'm sure they'll do something smart like say Discord corrupted Luna and made her into Nightmare Moon, and I really think the ponies won't have to go and re-find those Elements of Harmony again (unless they get stolen?). I'm hoping it will be more like they have to find the real power in those things, and when they do they go into Alicorn mode! Hey, if Hasbro wants to sell toys, what better way then to make new models of the characters?

On a side note: tonight feels like a booze and sex night. This is as close as I'm getting though....

All I can say was the animation was high quality. I was also talking with my mother at the time (before anybody starts going on about how I should put the show beyond all other things, this was about a very sick family member).

Why did someone come up with a drink based on Applejack when that's already a kind of booze.

The thing that sucks is that I only get it once or twice a week on a station I never watch or even go near in the listings. It's hard for me to find.

If you're having problems getting into the show, I'd actually recommend watching episode 25 (Party of One) first. The first two episodes aren't really representative.
