If the alicorn thing does happen I really don't think it will be a permanent deal. Most likely it will be some plot device used for an episode, then Twilight goes back to normal and Celestia is like "Oh, don't worry, it was an accident!" Then Luna comes in and is all like "Sister, she really should know what will happen in the future" and Celestia will be like "Not yet." and then que the dramatic Dun Dun Dun. And it never gets mentioned in canon again.
