I started on that pony model and here's what I have done so far. It's cut in half for now. It's easier to model it in half and then mirror it. In case you're wondering, the bottom right view is what's called rotoscope(Fuck you spell check, it's a real word). I'm basically tracing the side view of a 3-d image from a 2-d image. That's the best side view image of a pony I found.
At this point I could make it almost any pony. Although, one with a simple mane and tail would be easier for me.
So.... who wants to color it when I'm done? It's really easy if you know how to use a 2-d editing software like Photoshop or Gimp. I'm not as good at using those yet and I'd rather have someone more experienced do it.
