So Ponibooru is shutting down - and a million links cried out in terror. I didn't really use it, but it's still kinda sad.

I used it if I needed to find a relevant reaction image or to relocate an image I saw before but forgot the source. Tags are useful. As for hotlinking images, after a while I started linking either to the original source or reuploading since hotlinking can be inconsiderate.

There's always room for newcomers who would like to see some old stuff (even if already posted several
times for us, but for them is the 1st time). I don't see any problem with that.
How about starting a conversation with fan-fictions? I'm pretty sure master Tenbrony would love that.

thats a good way of looking at it. i am seeing all of this stuff for the first time except for all the avas and sigs here on the forums. i never get bored with pics either 100% agree with you there. as for convo, i dont mind engaging in some pony talk. since i am the FNG here i'll start with a few things on the show that got my attention.

1st in the pilot episode the CMC can be seen cowering under a table when Nightmare Moon appears but Applebloom doesnt meet Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle until Call of the Cutie Mark

2nd Applebloom is Applejacks little sister, Sweetie Belle is Raritys little sister, Scootaloo is a fucking orphan? WTF? why is she living in Ponyville anyway? shouldnt she be in Cloudsdale at the flight school? maybe she has a fear of heights like...

3rd Celestia and Luna are the only ponies i have seen that are both unicorn and pegasus (and probably earth pony too) i am guessing this is a distinct physical trait only expressed in royalty.

also, i think Celestia is an awesome princess. she takes things in stride and has a sense of humor about it.

Uh well, it's never been stated that Scoot doesn't have living parents, it's just something the fandom ran with. Rarity was assumed to be caring for Sweetie Belle full-time until the Sisterhooves Social episode, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they suddenly made an appearance. And there are around a hundred adult pegasi in Ponyville, so it's not really that strange that she's living there.

As for the alicorns, there's one more "canon" one, but she was originally supposed to be a unicorn so she doesn't really mesh very well with anything.

same here, i gave up after a few visits bc of how slow it is. i also disliked having to set those content filters too so ill check out Bronibooru next.
