They were actually making a Phoenix Wright-themed game? All I've seen are those YouTube PW gets summoned to Ponyville to defend RD videos. By which I mean the first one.

I kinda doubt any of those really major undertakings will ever be finished. I mean, how long have they been working on Fighting is Magic now? Almost a year? It's hard to keep a devteam intact and productive over the internet, especially when there is no monetary incentive.
