So I haven't posted in here in a while, nor have I seen any episode past the Halloween one. Is it worth watching?

even the cutie pox one was worth watching, if only for the utter "WTF" moments involved.

QUOTE(blakfayt @ Nov 19 2011, 15:13) True, but in all honesty I can remember just about every episode from season 1, but I can barely remember the few from Season 2. Even S1's lesser episodes still had their moments, but in S2 the off episodes are far off the mark, in my opinion anyway. You mean you start to discover discrepancies between the object of your infatuation, and the real thing? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Nov 19 2011, 16:41) 5+ minute RD/FS musical duet? Yeah. Suck it, Party of One, I have a new favorite episode. Reminded me of Lion King, only more shallow in verbiage.

"Hearth's Warming Eve" - December 17, 2011: The six friends are in a play about the founding of Equestria for the Hearth's Warming Eve's holiday pageant.

Well, I liked Lion King. It was well put together. I can't say this of any other Disney movie I watched.

Then again, no one had any high hopes for Lesson Zero either. QUOTE(Dlaglacz @ Nov 20 2011, 16:01) Well, I liked Lion King. It was well put together. I can't say this of any other Disney movie I watched. To be fair, even thought Disney is an evil corporate infestation that should be purged from the world before they completely succeed in eliminating all personal freedom in order to hoard their precious "intellectual property", Tangled had a hilarious musical scene. (The one at The Snuggly Duckling.)

But... it's about how Equestria was made... I assume it will involve rock farms and rainbooms.

I mean that S1 had something too it, something that has been toned back a bit in this one, or maybe they really are just catering to the brony fanbase too much. There just seems to be something off about S2 that wasn't in S1.

Aka the inevitable decline that leads to demise. FiM will be great while it lasts and we'll have fun, but eventually it'll start losing its magic and the friendship will stop. I already accepted this fact when S2 started and have made my peace with it.
