So, as of right now, season 3 is only 13 episodes, and a couple writers have left the production team, as well as Rob Renzetti.

Not sure how I feel about this bit of news.

Nothing lasts forever my brony, you should expect for such things.
For now enjoy the 2nd season without worrying for the 3rd's outcome
& who knows... maybe we gonna have only 13 episodes, or surprisingly

There's not a whole lot you can write about when you have to keep the show appropriate for little girls. I hope they'll consider making the show appeal to older and older audience as it grows over the years, much like Harry Potter books and movies.
And then they could reboot the franchise for the next generation. Possibly with little sisters as older ones.
