I'm gonna wait till next week to watch this weeks episode, that way I'm not coming unpluged and stuff. I didn't expect any more episodes till winter anyways, so I can wait. ...sort of.

I saw there was no Pinkie, I went "aww" then saw tweet on main page saying "copy paste this to make her jump" I turned it on, saw it, smiled like an idiot for 5 straight minutes. I'm never on the front page for more than a few seconds, yet having her there is just awesome.

Speaking of hasbro, has anyone seen the horrible new MLP Celestia toy commercial? IT'S FUCKIN' PINK! I MEAN, JESUS, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, at what point did one of the guys in the meeting go "So, even though she's white in the show, and we'll show an animated version that's white in the commercial, we're gonna make the toy pink as fuck with a single strand of blue going through the hair, the cutie mark is still going to be a yellow sun, but other than that, pink." And, if you have seen it, correct me if I'm wrong, but that didn't sound like Celestia to me.

Lauren addressed that once. According to her, the reason lies with toy distributors. To paraphrase her, she claimed distributors would theoretically have bought 50 Celestia toys if they were white, but 500 if they were pink. It has something to do with some weird preconceptions on what kind of toys sell to little girls.
