While I consider episode 25 the best overall, episode 3 is probably the best introduction to the individual characters. Otherwise, maybe the CMC can thaw you in episode 17 or 18.

I see the image. So I found this video and it makes me very sad as I think about the horrible punishment that a thousand years of solitude on the moon must be. Solitary confinement is the worst type of punishment (over a period of time, of course you could torture people but I'm speaking about legal punishment) and after 1000 years Luna has suffered extensive mental damage. Maybe that's why she didn't appear in the show? She needed time to recover, and tons of therapy...
