That way, everything is useful, and the fun part would be hunting for the godly gear.

Can you really not see the inherent stupidity in this statement? If "godly" gear was introduced and the "shitty" gear was removed, everyone would want the "godly" gear and today's "useful" gear would be the new shit.

No, because most of the other gear besides Cotton and Leather actually do something.
Nobody in their right minds would use Cotton/Leather these days.

The point is, make everything useful. C'mon, be honest. Their only use is cheap bazaar food.

Bzzt. Leather, Plate and Cotton (in order) are the three most used armor types. Granted it's because they are common, but that's kind of the point.

Someone seems to be auto-buying all the vigor/fortitude crystals from the shop. It seems like whoever is running that script is buying them with a delay of ~ 2-3 seconds as a means to make it less obvious than from instant buying them.

I'm not sure if you even read logs anymore, but I think you should at least regarding buying crystals from the shop. Maybe even implement some kind of feature where you can observe it more efficiently.

Cotton can be used by lower level mages to get some Elemental Res against FSM or IPU (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Exactly my point. Cotton is for the poorest of the poor mages. If the worst they can get is Gossamer (even if it's Fox gear), that would improve their playing experience a lot.

I don`t see the problem.
When you start a game you obviously start with whatever you find and then slowly change to better gear.

When I did that equipment revamp, I actually considered rolling Dragon Hide into Leather, like Chainmail was rolled into Plate.

Hmm, I'm still skeptical. It could very well be a hoard of people camping the bazaar but after selling some crystals here and there, in varying amounts, I'm inclined to believe that it's some kind of automated procedure based on the delay between each transaction and the types of crystals that are bought.

This is reminiscent of the time when crystals disappeared instantly from the bazaar the moment you sell them. And I mean instantly, literally gone in milliseconds. No human can buy that fast, even if you have a T3 connection. This time around, it seems to be a more improved version where it tries to be more "human-like."

Just boost cotton/leather's base stats some more. Generic but strong gear can compete with specialized gear.

I don't know why dragon-hide and leather can't be merged. Just let those dragon-hide to have protection variant, and the problem's solved.

I'd say its very possible that it's a bunch of people just camping in there for crystals.
I mean, I'm one of those guys lol. That's all I do these days after I'm done with my main arenas.
