I'm not saying that it was any given player's fault, and code will never be bug-free. But do the math. There is one coder, and how many players? The odds that no one noticed it is extremely low.
To prevent something like this from happening again, I don't think it's too unreasonable to ask for this:

So what are the current damage formulas for inflicting and receiving damage between players and mobs? And are these formulas here for good or are you going to tweak them more?

A little understanding goes a long way, and I'm seeing very little of it from some people.
In all honesty, this is a pretty good patch if you look at it from every angle. I know where you're coming from with the need to rewrite everything in order to work out all the kinks considering I'm a programmer myself. But you need to realize that with a major change such as this, people
will whine and complain. With that said, I haven't really complained or said anything bad about this patch and all the "nerfs" that came along with it.
Admittedly, I was pretty pissed initially regarding your change to the final arenas but after giving it some thought, it seems like a blessing in disguise. I failed to factor in the fact that you reduced mages back to the stone age and now it's actually harder, relatively speaking, to complete those arenas on IWBTH.
All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the patch to say the least. I do have one non-serious complaint though. It's too easy to level via arenas now. Nerf that shit. (IMG:[
