Like I said, I really haven't seen much change between the Pic yesterday and the one uploaded today. The line work varies a little and is a bit darker, but that's about it.

I went ahead and make kind of an lighting example on the hair. I just added a new layer to your clipping mask and went from there.

I'm not seeing a lot wrong with your line work, just the shading.

Wow, I'm really struggling with this language barrier more than I should be.
Ok Here we go.

first off I do use CS3

looking at your example and thinking I understand now. Your black lines would be casting shadows on the face.
That is if you have the light source on the left side of the picture.

you have some blue lines on the right side of her face that would also cast shadows on to the face.

you know what. Finish coloring and shading the piece. From there I'll be able to see the entire thing.
From there I might have a bit better luck showing you where to shade and where shadows would be cast.

I'm really trying to help here, but I don't know if I can, or if it is doing any actual good.

No offense but it seems that you're kinda clueless with coloring :/

I strongly recommend you to start with simple things, like objects, animals e.t.c

For example:

(IMG:[www.cse.unr.edu] http://www.cse.unr.edu/~mahsman/courses/cs791a/full.png)

(IMG:[static7.depositphotos.com] http://static7.depositphotos.com/1071110/694/v/950/depositphotos_6946906-Easel-and-paintbrush.jpg)

The whole point is to learn about color shading with simple terms. After you've learned to color the anime hairs
as an "object", it's gonna be easier to make shadows & shining points (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Already make some similar 1 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif), what you img it, and i was use this [colorschemedesigner.com] website for searching color (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif), original color code=b85281 and what i used for highlight DC99B7, but after i realize that not the best choice i was set opacity to 40% and fill 80% in layer, and was paint highlight for Brush tool with soft 35px

anyway, I can highlight for any little sketch what you link (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) if you like.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Bullshit.
Recoloring a 3D rendered Teapot is not knowledge on how to light and shade.

I'm trying to remain calm here, but I honestly have very little patients for these kinds of things. Please don't rip and recolor art work and claim you know how to do something. Its insulting.

Please try again, while trying being legitimate this time.

although I have no authority to say what I have here, I'm sure others do feel similar

are we talking highlighting and shadowing? ok look, BrainSucks was say i need to paint simple think before managing hard 1, and i was do that for his picture, i was grey that pic and used it to make a new looking teapot, its completely different, look the sharp in each color. I wasn't use Gradient tool, if you think i was do that.

BrainSucks was link a tutorial, and probably think i cant copy it, that why he say i need to paint similar think before i try to understand that tutorial, i'm sorry if you are angry now, i wasnt want to do that.

yeah, yeah, my bad, I shouldn't fly off the handle like that. I had a long day, but thats no excuse.

I have dealt with enough Art Thieves on Newgrounds that my instant reaction to thieving or the likes their of is instant hostility and suspicion.
Id doesn't help that your picture and the picture Brain provided lines up pretty much perfectly.

Either way to dispel my suspicion you should shade something new. A basic shape like a sphere or cube or something will do fine.

As far as I'm concerned, people who can shade are witches, I have no idea how it works.

Wrong. I post you these links as examples to draw random simple objects from scratch, not edit!

I think what BrainSucks wants to convey is start with basic shapes and try to apply color to them ... example ... draw a apple ... the sun is at 11:00 position ...

I know you did try to color the kettle =) but try to apply it on your own work at least since the kettle already has "markers" on where the shades are at ....

I suck at coloring too so I don't dare go to painting types ( I'm a newbie there also ) XD
