I noticed that the server was trying to send some packages to me in order to check my speed/ping.
I also noticed the speed was about 30KB/s, which was well below the limit of 50KB/s.

However, when I use speedtest and checked my connection speed, I got a very good result

[www.speedtest.net] (IMG:[www.speedtest.net] http://www.speedtest.net/result/1345372854.png)

Maybe the hentaiathome server was too far away from my position(Asia), so instead I tried to check my connection speed with Netherland, where the server is located.

[www.speedtest.net] (IMG:[www.speedtest.net] http://www.speedtest.net/result/1345375627.png)

So the connection speed is still better than 50kB/s.
Up to this point, I cannot understand why I get only 30kB/s when dealing with the server.
Is there anything I have done wrong, or any other things I have to check?

This does not mean the port is correctly forwarded, it means what it says.

The speedtests are initiated by an incoming connection to the port java is listening on.

In your case since the speedtests do start, you have setup your port forwards correctly.

Your issue is that you aren't performing the speedtests at at least the minimum speed required.

Thanks for explaining that.

The problem is that I just cannot figure out why I only get 30KB/s from H@H's connection speed test, since I can get a much higher connection speed from speedtest.net.

Any suggestions on what's going wrong? Or maybe I have set something incorrectly?

You know what my ISP did ?
They put all of us, using mobile internet behind firewall.
Want proof ? Here it is written in Finnish for all of you to enjoy:
[www.dna.fi] http://www.dna.fi/DNAOy/media/hairiotiedot...PNmuutos86.aspx

Ok enough chatter.
Point is: When I got firewalled, the H@H client refused to start because it's port could not be contacted.
It clearly said so.

Makes me wonder: Why can't I use port 500 ? My ISP: DNA left that open for incoming tcp connections.
Well, don't change H@H yet so that accepts ports below 1024, it's my basis for cancelling my 2 year contract with them.

====EDIT====
I just actually read your message. Yes, it would be nice for the client to say the reason the startup failed.
Currently thinking...
LOL omg WTF ?? 3 ms ping ???? I have 5 ms to my default gateway, still thinking...
Ah ok, your ISP is probably hosting one of the speedtest servers.

Just enter 400 to your limit here https://e-hentai.org/hentaiathome.php

One thought so far: ISP limiting torrent traffic.
Any peerblocking software is trouble.

Well when Tenboro reads this, he will ask you to post info from...
X:\HentaiAtHome\data\log_out
X:\HentaiAtHome\data\log_err

That might help us "normal" people diagnose this.

But then..
why I only get 30KB/s from H@H's connection speed test
That would definitely be the problem.
It used to accept 50kB and over, but now it's probably 100kB and over.

I'm trying to follow what you've said

1. I changed the port from 20001 to 18137, but it still doesn't work.
So it seems that firewall is not the problem here.
I changed it back to 20001

2. I have been using Norton 360 firewall, but I've already added H@H to the allowed list.
Allow connection to and from other computers, allow any computer to connect, and allow them to use port 20001 only.

3. Running H@H right now to generate the log report...
but there's nothing in the out and err file. What the hell.
It's exactly like what I've posted.

4. I'm also behind a router, but I've added H@H into the allowed list. Also port 20001 only.

5. My ISP's not limiting my torrent traffic, at least they won't dare to do so.
I can use bitcomet; it's using port 18137, and I can download and upload in 1000kB/s using bitcomet.

6. No, the ping problem is because I'm so far away from the server.
You can check...damn it doesn't allow linking...
It seems strange to me, but I will try your method first. Give me a few minutes...
No, it's not working. The ping to Netherland's still 260ms.
And that optimizer doesn't work. I can't even go online without reverting to my original setting.
I have seen people from Asian side to use H@H, so ping shoudn't be a problem, at least I think so.

7. Checked spyware. Just with some cookies.

Yes, sorry, I didn't take in to account that you aren't a natural english speaker.
Neither am I, but watching anime has taught me english.

The program should provide you (and us) with some info from these files.
X:\HentaiAtHome\data\log_out
X:\HentaiAtHome\data\log_err

H@H doesn't print some of the coolest info.

Even if your speedtest has an excellent score of 400 kilobytes per second, there's a chance that your Internet Service Provider...
Limits Torrent based protocol. That kinda sucks, Torrent clients like Vuze/Azureus can use encryption to get around that, but H@H doesn't have encryptions.
Let's hope we can make something out from your log files.

OH OH OH !!!!
Just noticed something...
Your ping time in the second test is 267 ms, that's unacceptable.
There's something wrong with the quality of your connection.
Please power down ALL EQUIPMENT THAT CONNECTS YOU TO INTERNET. Then turn it back on.
Any ping time above 100 ms is unacceptable.

Download SG TCP Optimizer from here:
[www.speedguide.net] http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php
1) Run it
2) Select: Modify all network adapters
3) Select: Optimal
4) Slide the slider to the far right
5) Click Apply (you can reply No - to the next question)
6) Reboot
(IMG:[img38.imagefra.me] http://img38.imagefra.me/i56h/doenator/jq6c_317_ubdsp.gif)
If that doesn't help, and you have antivirus installed, might want to check for spyware. (Virus like programs)

If nothing bad is found, we gotto wait for someone smarter.

Now the port forwarding on my router fails.
I am checking with my ISP to see what's happening, so it takes a few days' time.
I will update my situation after meeting technician from my ISP.

Edit: The port forwarding works again, what the hell.
Would like to have new ideas on what's happening
