Tron: Ares
This movie was a bit infuriating for me, i'm not a fun of the franchise and i didn't like the provious movies but for me is a crescendo and this one finally reached the sufficience.
The problem of this movie is that it's quite swinging, there are good action sequence but they are few and the setting is made so that the one that like the cyber world of Tron will probably be upset being it only a little part of the whole picture.
There are quite some sequence that i felt redunctant and the characters are really basic and with little to none improvements, expecially for the evil ones that are really the cliché of the cliché.
The bst thing of the movie is Jared Leto, an actor that i don't really like that much but that played his role really well in this movie, IF ONLY HIS PART WAS MORE CONSISTENT!
Normally i say a movie need to be short and in the last year i would cut some time of nearly every movie i've seen but in this case i'd say this movie needed 40 minutes more, 10-15 action packed set inside the cyber world and the rest for Ares to grow more cause as it is his change seem to be somehting that didn't really come, it was always here from the beginning, somehting that is underwhelming.
I still say that this is not a bad movie but with some effort it would have been an hit and not the huge flop that come to be.
