I went to see Iron Sky ( [

The movie wasn't made by a big producer, but through donations/grants from several smaller sources. And with fan input.
It was made to look like a Hollywood production, and it isn't too logical or rational like one, but metaphorically it says disturbing things about our world today.
I liked that there are no good or bad characters in it, more like stupid and... stupid but not trying to tell others what to do. I liked that US isn't portrayed as the ultimate prevailing mountain of goodness like in most blockbuster movies. And I liked numerous references to obscure things and ideas that would likely be missed by an average viewer. It's a movie that evades following canons, keeps you uncertain of where it'll go next, and ends in a way you expected it to end but hoped it wouldn't.
I wonder if the movie will be shown in US theaters in the end. It's set to screen, at date unknown, but I think it won't get a good reception among average American dreamers.
See the trailer, and you'll likely know what I mean (IMG:[
