Yuu's mom is such a slut. Wow.

For the longest time, I couldn't figure out if she was actually a step-mom or like some relative his dad shacked up with after his wife died or if she was actually an older sister or something. Like I said, that family is wacky.

What I can't figure out is whether Jonathan really fucked Iiko as well. He told Yuu that he fucked his mother and his sister, but he might have been bluffing about Iiko since they never really dropped a hint about that and Iiko seems to care about being an antibody more than anything else. I'm on episode 18 so maybe the truth is yet to be confirmed.

Well, at least it's not as bad as Karas.

ADDENDUM: Holy what? Mutsumi Inomata, Yoshiyuki Tomino and Yoko Kanno? Someone should tell me if this is a thing I would be interested in.

It is.

There's not as much action as I would like from a mecha show, but it's got an interesting story and good looking characters. I don't think I have ever seen another show where I liked all the female characters (besides Shiela, I don't dig haircuts that are shorter than mine on a girl). I like the psychological aspect of the relationships between the pilots, on both sides, and the subtleties of the message of ecological awareness and our symbiotic relationship with nature as humans.

I liked KARAS. It was all Japanese Batman and shit. That, and I enjoy Tatsunoko stuff. That whole costumed heroes thing is kinda my schtick.

The mango is better. Tomino said so, don't bother him about it. Actually, the music is one of the main reasons a lot of people keep watching the animu, but a good portion of them are glad they stuck it out.

On another topic, I think I might have liked Fate Prototype better. Just watched the fake promo they made for Carnival Phantasm and its much more awesome than what they actually did with the idea.

Just finished Brain Powerd. Glad I stuck it out 'till the end, cus the beginning was a bit slow and boring. Great story, though I don't think I appreciate the slight Christian symbolism scattered through the show.

I could take it in Evangelion because it was you, know, MEANT to be like that, but I really think Brain Powerd could have done without any of it and not a single thing of value would have been lost.

Still, overall, good show. Oh and I have a crush on Kanaan now.

It replays the book of Revelation, how could it NOT have possibly been meant to be Christian? Or did the producers just somehow come up with the same thing the bible said without any pre-existing knowledge of it?

Actually, given how much crap is out there on Revelation, it is possible they never did read that book of the bible but managed to piece the story themselves after hearing so much from other sources. Admittedly, the only reason I even read it was because we had a lot of time to kill and from time to time I would pick up my friend's bible and just read chapters out of it.
